FED UP
I don't know about you all, but I'm sick and fucking tired of being compared to Adolf Hitler and Nazis in general. I'm not Hitler. I'm nothing like Hitler. Bush isn't Hitler. Bush is nothing like Hitler. Republicans aren't Hitler. Republicans are nothing like Hitler. We're not Nazis. We're nothing like Nazis. Yet, on a daily basis we're compared to the two by the Left. Everyday, everyday, everyday I hear myself being associated with that monster. Is it any wonder we're always so pissed? The Left in this country like to jump on the discrimination bandwagon every chance they get. Racial profiling is discrimination. Not supporting affirmative action is discrimination. Voter I.D. cards are discrimination. But, somehow, constantly calling those on the Right Hitler or Nazi isn't. On television, music and movies, we're attacked, belittled and called every name in the book like morons, terrorist and lower life forms all for one reason. We're Republicans. If that's not discrimination then I don't know what is. Where's the ACLU? Aren't they supposed to be against attacks like this? Aren't they supposed to take up the cause of those who are being discriminated, slandered and defamed? I guess it only works when that person is Liberal. Every time someone does this it just shows how truly ignorant they are. The day I order the eradication of millions upon millions of people, then you can call me Hitler. Until that day though, shut the fuck up and show some intelligence.

Why am I going off on this? Because of this. It's a double attack. An attack on Laura Bush with that asinine picture and then a typical Hitler attack on W. I guess domestic violence is funny to people like Bill Maher, but I know a couple of women who might disagree. It's no wonder I don't watch his show. Like the reporter calls it, a "pathetic hate-fest".

BROADBAND IN THE BATHROOM
This is a cool story. Broadband internet from an electrical outlet. Them Japanese are damn geniuses. Now, if they would only lower the cost of the service. I'd have broadband, if it didn't cost so much.

THEME OF THE MONTH
With this being the last song for this month I could think of only one song that could close it out just right. How many times growing did your parents yell at you to "turn that noise down", or "shut that racket off"? Well, for all of you who were constantly told that your music was too loud or trash or garbage, AC/DC has something you should have told them.

Rock 'N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.wma
Hey there all you middle men
Throw away your fancy clothes
And while you're out sittin' on a fence
So get off your arse and come down here
Cause rock 'n' roll ain't no riddle man
To me it makes good good sense
Good sense yeah let's go

Heavy decibels bells are playing on my guitar
We got vibrations comin' up from the floor
We're just listenin' to the rock
That's givin' too much noise
Are you deaf you wanna hear some more
We're just talking about the future
Forget about the past
It'll always be with us
It's never gonna die
Never gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll it will survive
Yes it will

I took a look inside your bedroom door
You looked so good lyin' on your bed
Well I asked you if you wanted any rhythm and love
You said you wanna rock 'n' roll instead
We're just talking about the future
Forget about the past
It'll always be with us
It's never gonna die
Never gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll is just rock 'n' roll

Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't no pollution
Rock 'n' rolling will survive
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll will never die
Rock 'n' roll ain't no pollution
Rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll

Is just rock 'n' roll, yeah

NEW BLOG
I've got a new blog for you all to enjoy. Head down to Hero Bloggers. It's Amy Proctor, an Army wife. So everyone head over and remember to thank her husband for all that he's done for our country.

Also, she has the picture on her site that I like, so I thought I would share it here. I'm looking for a place to add it here.
I think that about says it all.

HEROES
A little something different this week. I'm going to be showcasing two of our bravest.

PFC Jerimiah Freeman
Here we see PFC Jerimiah Freeman of the Washington Army Guard, Airborn Rangers, with a group of Iraqi children. And that's all the info I could find about him.

SSG Pfeifer, don't know his first name, of the 1/12FA, 1st Battalion 12th Field Artillery, of the U.S. Army out of Fort Still in the Great State Of OklahomaTM holding his 3 year old daughter.

These brave men and women risk their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.

HELP NEEDED
"I am watching CNN and it is 100 percent Rita...even though it is a little wind and a little rain...it is bad, but there are other things going on in this country today...and in the world!!!!"
Cindy Sheehan on The Daily KOS
Even though she later retracted it, she still believes it. All politics aside, this woman needs help that she's just not getting. She's lost her child. The absolute worst pain imaginable, but she's surrounding herself with these people who continue to exploit her and her loss, telling her that she's the voice of the country, that she has to keep going no matter the cost and she's getting worse by the day. I don't have much sympathy for her anymore, but I still feel bad for her. She's lost and she can't seem to find herself, and people like Jesse Jackson and Michael Moore sure as hell aren't helping her. She's so starved for media attention again that she got herself arrested over the weekend. If these people really cared about her they would try and get her the help she needs rather than applaud her sad media stunts.<br />Cindy SheehanWe Have Every Right To Dream Heroic Dreams.

THE HELL YOU SAY
This picture seems to show a Republcian speaking out against his party. Ah, but looks can be deceiving. And who knows that better than Democrats? Because that man is a Mr. Jeb Eddy, a software writer and author in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Eddy also happens to be a Democrat. And, as usual, Big Media ate it hook, line and sinker. It's also not the first time Mr. Eddy pretended to be a disgruntled Republican. In February he attended a speech by Nancy Pelosi in the San Francisco Library claiming to be a Republican. I would say I'm shocked at this, but let's face it, it's par for the course for the Left. After all, the Latin word for Left is sinistr. Here's the whole story.
Thanks John.

WHAT WENT WRONG?
That's what a lot of people were asking when W kicked John Kerry's ass last year. Well, a new documentary coming out will try to explain just that. I want to see this. Me thinks Mr. Wade doth protest too much. He's trying to just blow this off, but you know there's a little fear there. Here's a little tidbit I think you may like. Anonymous sources tell me that in the documentary, the Kerry camp lays some of the blame on The New York Times because of a picture they used of him. That's priceless, the most blatantly Liberal biased paper trying to thwart Kerry's bid for the White House. Put down the cheba boys, it's messing with your heads.

THEME OF THE MONTH: KISSKiss
You wanted the best? You got the best. The hottest band in the world.
What would a month long tribute to songs about Rock & Roll be without the big daddy of rock songs? If you don't like Kiss, you don't like rock. 30 years with paint, without paint, in bright neon spandex or in black leather pants, no one has dominated music like Kiss. I don't think there's another band out there with a following like Kiss. On to the song. Chances are that when you hear this song on the radio it's always the live version, at least that's all my radio station plays, but this is the actual studio version. I'd never heard it until I got this album. It's a bit slower but I think it's actually better. Also, if you're looking for Ace Frehley's kick ass solo that's in the live version, you'll be disappointed. It's not here. And remember, it's not "and party every day", it's " and party ev-a-ry day".

Rock and Roll All Nite.wma
You show us everything you've got
You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You say you wanna go for a spin
The party's just begun, we'll let you in
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'

I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day (x4)

You keep on saying you'll be mine for awhile
You're lookin' fancy and I like your style
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You show us everything you've got
Baby, baby that's quite a lot
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'

I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day (x8)

SHE'S BACK
Hollywoods biggest windbag is back at it. Barbara Streisand is screeching the global warming call.
"We are in a global warming emergency state, and these storms are going to become more frequent, more intense"
So this has been going on since at least 1947. Damn that Truman for starting this. Let's count the Category 5 storms that have occurred in Streisand's lifetime.

1) 1947 an unnamed storm killed 51
2) 1950 Dog killed unknown
3) 1951 Easy killed unknown
4) 1955 Janet killed 681
5) 1958 Cleo killed unknown
6 & 7) 1960 Donna killed 148, Ethel killed 0
8 & 9) 1961 Carla killed 46, Hattie killed 275
10) 1967 Beulah killed 59
11) 1969 Camille killed 259
12) 1971 Edith killed 71
1974 Not a Cat 5 but Fifi killed at least 8000 people that year
13) 1977 Anita killed 10
14) 1979 David killed 2068
15) 1980 Allen killed 259
16) 1988 Gilbert killed 327
17) 1989 Hugo killed 56
18) 1992 Andrew killed 26
19) 1998 Mitch killed 9086
20) 2003 Isabel killed 25
21) 2004 Ivan killed 92
22 & 23) 2005 Katria & Rita total deaths are still unknown

In 58 years there's been 23 Catagory 5 hurricanes. These are nothing new people. Bush's not signing Kyoto isn't causing these hurricanes. The planet goes through natural weather cycles. We're in one now.

SUNDAY BLUES
I don't want to be in some big beautiful place that nobody want me, because I play the blues.
Luther Allison

This week is something a little different. It's still the blues, but it's more of a cousin of the blues. Zydeco. If you've never heard Zydeco music, then you're missing out. Great Cajun form of the blues. Zydeco is music that makes you get up and dance. Even the whitest white boy would get up and dance to this stuff. This week Darcey is profiling a song by Sonny Landreth called Zydeco Shuffle. I haven't heard Landreth's stuff, but I was listening to some samples and it's amazing. He, Darcey, gives you another suggestion to check out, as will I. Go look for Buckwheat Zydeco. The king, if you ask me. Look for a song called Put In The Pocket off of his album Tomorrow's Zydeco. This may be the best example of the genre. So, head over, download Zydeco Shuffle, and Laisser Le Bon Temp Rouler!

ON WITH THE COUNTDOWN
Santa
Like a typical man, I forgot to do this last month. Only 3 short months to go. If you'll remember back in July I think I made it clear that I love Christmas. But I think I like the build up more. After Thanksgiving, when the lights are all up, the gifts are under the tree, it's finally getting cold outside, the Wal-Mart has all their Christmas decoration up and you can't go anywhere without hearing a Christmas song. That's when it's at it's best. I finally have the Christmas look done for the blog. It's kind of simple, but I think it works.

TOLD YA
Remember this? I asked
"I wonder who Big Media will cover and who they'll ignore?"
Well,
Bias from Reuters

Bias from AP. But this one does mention the other side. Down at the bottom.

Bias from The NY Times. This one ends with Liberals showing their true ignorance. A Mr. William Dobbs with the Peace and Justice group says the following,
"It's significant that Bush is out of town. It shows that he's turned his back on the peace movement, which represents a majority of the American public right now."
Gee, I wonder why he'd be out of town? It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that two hurricanes have hit the gulf coast in one week could it. I know I say the Left will gain control over this country again, but it is any wonder why they're so low right now with ignorant stuff like this being said?

THEME OF THE MONTH: AC/DC - ROCKER (LIVE)
This one was kind of hard. Should I go with the studio version, which is awesome, or go with a live version, which I feel live is better 95% of the time. So I went with the live version. I have two better ones, but one's almost 10MB and I don't feel like waiting for it to upload and the other is a live recoding in a studio for a small audience. It doesn't capture the true live feeling with thousands of people screaming, less than par sound and the random mistakes the band makes. But anyway, you don't get much faster than this and I think the lyrics explain it all. This use to be their closer and it's definitely a song that would make you leave feeling good. Tune up the air guitar and have some fun.

PRO-FREEDOM/ANTI-FREEDOM RALLIES
Two mothers, Diane Ibbotson and H. Elaine Johnson, who both lost sons in Iraq, will be attending demonstrations this weekend that will deal with the War In Iraq. Ms. Ibbotson, part of the Iowa-based group Families United for Our Troops, will be attending a rally in support of the troops while Ms. Johnson will be attending an anti-freedom rally with Cindy Sheehan. I wonder who Big Media will cover and who they'll ignore? Well, here's an easy way to tell. Just read the article. See who the piece covers more, Ms. Ibbotson or Ms. Johnson.

MAKES SENSE TO ME
What Andy Rodney said on "60 Minutes" :

I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English! My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry a_ _(bottom) if you threaten them, after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or! "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business. We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document, and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made, and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe.

I am proud to be from America and nowhere else. And if you don't like my point of view, tough... DON'T PASS IT ON...

DO WHAT?
A Canadian girl was expelled from an Ontario Christian school because her parents are lesbians. Superintendent Leonard Stob wrote in a letter to her biological mother
"Your family does not meet the policies of admission"
School policy dictates that at least one parent may not engage in practices "immoral or inconsistent with a positive Christian life style, such as cohabitating without marriage or in a homosexual relationship". The family says they won't fight the ruling. Okay, I'm not a sue happy Liberal, but this is one case I would make an exception. Can anyone say discrimination? And it's not even discrimination against the actual person. This girl is being punished for something she has no control over. How fair is that?

WHAT TO DO/NOT TO DO IN CASE OF HURRICANE
Below I've compiled a list of things that should and shouldn't be done in case of a hurricane.

What Should Be Done
-Call in National Guard before the storm
-Mandatory evacuation before the storm
-Have food, water and other supplies ready before the storm
-Empty hospitals before the storm
-Have buses begin to evacuate people before the storm

What Shouldn't Be Done.
-Everything Blanco and Nagin did

It seems Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, a Republican, knows what to do. The list of things to do are the things he's done. Maybe Blanco should pay attention to Perry, just in case she's in office the next time a hurricane head towards Louisiana.

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE
See, I'm not the only one who's waiting for the Left to blame Bush for Rita. But Anthony, you got it wrong. It's not the White people he hates, this is southern Texas, it's Mexicans he's after this time. He's systematically taking out each race one by one until there's nothing left but Whitey. Asians are next with a massive earthquake in San Francisco. Then Indians in the 4-corners region, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. The fiend.

HERO
LCpl. Ben Shover?
This is usually where I post some info on the soldier above. But this time I'm not sure who this is.

EDIT
I've been informed by Doug Halsted, aka Iowa Geek, that this man is with the U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division based out of Korea. Again, I'm just guessing here, but the stripes on his chest look to be those of a Sgt. Major which leads me to think that he may be a Sgt. Major Brian Shover. But I'm probably wrong, again.

First he sends Katrina to try and wipe out Blacks in New Orleans, and that didn't work. So now the Master Of Weather has sent forth Rita to the exact area where a lot of them were relocated to try and finish the job. Hold on, should I have waited until after the storm hits and nuts like Jesse Jackson and Lewis Farrakhan start to say something similar?

ARTISTS OF THE MONTH: BLUE ÖYSTER CULT - CITIES ON FLAMES WITH ROCK AND ROLL
BÖC LogoBlue Öyster Cult , or BÖC, is one of the more unusual bands out there. I don't know too much about them, but hey, any band that has a song out that pays tribute to Godzilla ain't all that bad. Formed in the late 60's, BOC is a great band that's been pushed to the side like George Thorogood. Some may think they're some kind of satanic or occultist band because of some of their songs like (Don't Fear) The Reaper and Astronomy as well as albums with covers like those of Agents Of Fortune, Fire Of Unknown Origin and Some Enchanted Evening . Then there's their band logo. Which is total bunk. It's kind of like the people who claim AC/DC stands for Anti-Christ Devils Children. They're just a great band that plays great music. So download the song and enjoy. And be sure to listen for the hidden messages.

RHETORIC
Bush, in his dealing with what was left behind by the devastating Hurricane Katrina, which revealed to the entire world the great helplessness in dealing with the destruction caused by this hurricane, because of the tremendous attrition of the American army's resources in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This hurricane has once again brought to mind the manifestations of racial discrimination among the American people, and has exposed the fragility of the foundations upon which it is structured. The acts of assault and killings have spread, as well as robbery and looting, and what is still to come will be even more terrible.

These moronic Liberals are always running their mouths. They continue to spew this garbage day after day. It's getting hard to tell one from the other. What? An American Liberal didn't say that? Well, pray tell, who did? Oh, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said it. It's getting hard to tell the difference between the Left and al-Qaeda as well.
Thanks John.

ARE YOU REALLY SURPRISED?
I've seen a lot of bloggers talking about this story. Like the title says, are you really surprised at this? I mean, he is a Clinton. They're the most opportunistic people on the face of the planet. They do and say whatever they feel they need to get what they want. They'll look you in the eye with a smile while reaching around to jab the knife in. I admit, he's done a damn good job at making himself look good, hell, I fell for it, but that's all it is. A job. And the American people were the marks.

Even though Merkel's Christian Democrats have come out on top there is no clear winner for Chancellor as of yet. Can anyone say Bush/Gore 2000? And they call our election process dumb.

CRITICIZING THE PARTY
I'm about to do something that I don't do too often. I'm going to criticize those in my own party. Specifically those who are commenting on the nomination of John Roberts. I have two issues I want to discuss.

1) The confirmation. I keep hearing from my Righties that Roberts has to be confirmed. Saying stuff like that puts us in a bad light. I don't care if he's confirmed or not. Really doesn't bother me. Like I said the whole time the filibustering of John Bolton was going on, you don't need to confirm but there needs to be a vote.

2) Second issue, the apparent litmus test. There seems to be one issue on whether Roberts is a "true Conservative" to my fellow Righties and that's Roe vs. Wade. Would Roberts uphold the ruling or would he overturn it. They seem to be worried that he my uphold it. What? While this is an important issue, there are far more important ones to worry about. Like whether these terrorist scum that are captured should be treated like an actual human or thrown in a dark cage 'till the end of time.

Guys, I hate to be the one to tell you this but this power we have is coming to an end. This country will move back to the Left either in '08 or 2012. Don't start getting to big headed cause it'll come back to bite you on the ass.

SUNDAY BLUES
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.
Jimi Hendrix

It's time to go for your yellow belt in the art of Blues-Fu. The music that God created on the seventh day when he was supposedly resting. Darcey has stumped me this week with a song by Eva Cassidy called Autumn Leaves. I've never heard of either. So for once I have nothing to talk about. I'm just getting ready to download it so I have no idea what it sounds like, but with the blues you can't go wrong. So head over and download it and see if you like it.

SCHROEDER GONE
Angela MerkelExit polls are showing that Angela Merkel will replace the incompetent Gerhard Schroeder as German Chancellor making her the first female in that role. It'll be nice to have a Conservative in power over there. It looks like Bush's master plan is coming into effect. Too bad the Christian Democrats won't have a parliamentary majority. Now she'll have to put up with the Social Democrats crap at trying to stop everything she does. Kind of like Bush does here. But at least Schroeder will be gone.

BUT I'M SURE IT WAS HARMLESS
Mahmoud Maawad, an Egyptian in the country illegally, was arrested for wire fraud and fraudulent use of a Social Security number. Upon searching his apartment authorities found a pilots uniform, a chart of Memphis International Airport and a DVD titled "How an Airline Captain Should Look and Act". Terrorist, I mean Mr. Maawad, had ordered over $3000 worth of other stuff, which included DVDs titled "Ups and Downs of Takeoffs and Landings," "Airplane Talk," "Mental Math for Pilots" and "Mastering GPS Flying". He was caught after he didn't pay $2,500 that he owed for the items. Terrorist, sorry, I mean Mr. Maawad has said
"My school is everything. I stay in this country for seven years; I stay for the school"
But for some reason the judge didn't believe him.
"It is hard for the court to understand why he has a large concentration of those items, and nothing else to indicate Mr. Maawad plans to stay in the community"

This is scary as hell. Now just think. For this one they were lucky enough to capture, how many are still out there planning things like this? 15? 20? 50? 100? 1000? Who knows. The real scary thing is, they won't be able to catch them all. We will be attacked again, it's only a matter of time.
Thanks John.

THINGS I JUST LOVE
Over the past week I've been compiling a few of the things that I just love. Things that people do or say that are priceless.

White boys who think they know black culture because they listen to rap or reggae. Especially rich white boys. That's some funny stuff right there.

Back to reggae. I love the white boys who wear their Bob Marley shirts and rasta hats and think they actually know who Marley was. The only thing they know about Jamaica is rocking the ganga.

People who get fake "tribal" band tattoos. Come on, you're not a member of any tribe. And besides, it's not a real tribal symbol. Also goes for the barb wire tattoo. Get something original.

People who bungee jump or skydive with a helmet. Come on people, if you're falling that far at that speed a helmet isn't going to save your life.

Liberals who "are in touch with nature, just like the Indians" because they go out into the desert, paint crap on their face with mud and speak as though everything has a soul.

People who claim Fox News is bias when what they actually mean is that the NEWS ANALYSTS, not reporters, are the bias ones. Sean Hannity is bias. Neil Cavoto is bias. Alan Colmes is bias. Greta Van Sustran is bias. But I don't think Shepherd Smith or Catherine Herridge are bias. By the way, I love her hair.

New millennium hippies. We've all seen them in places like Seattle. Phony dreadlocks, rasta hat, fake Navaho design on their poncho, ripped jeans and sandals. Haven't bathed in a week. Women with hair sticking out the sleeves of their shirts, haven't bathed in at least a month because they're "au natural".

Those fake band t-shirts at places like J.C. Penny's. You see the AC/DC and Led Zeppelin shirts they carry. Those are for people who've never even heard an AC/DC or Led Zeppelin song. They buy them because they look kind of cool and go great with their $100 "worn in" look jeans.

People who say "pimp my ride".

People who think Ashton Kutcher is a good actor.

Now you may have a few you want to add, feel free.

& the Delaware Destroyers. Or just Destroyers if you like. One of the most underrated groups out there. Like many of the great bands of the 80's, George Thorogood & The Destroyers were kind of pushed to the side when the 90's hit. Which is a shame because this is some of the best music you'll ever hear. Good boogie blues/rock. Rockin' My Life Away is a very loose cover of a Jerry Lee Lewis song. If you're a fan and have this one by Thorogood, you still want to download this one. This is an alternate version that was released on their 30 Years Of Rock album. Faster song with slightly different lyrics. So download it, crank up your speakers and have some fun.

CLOSE CALL
Just had the scare of my life. I was looking in the mirror and happened to notice a small dark spot on the inside of my mouth that wasn't there yesterday. And what's the first thing that comes to mind? Cancer. Went looking online to see what was up and some sites were saying that a small spot like could be an early sign of oral cancer. Just looked at it with a flashlight and realized it was only a small bite mark. I must have done it while sleeping. I fell both relieved and stupid. Only a few times I've ever been that scared.

SWEET JESUS
Cindy Sheehan has lost her damn mind. She's called New Orelans "occupied" by U.S. miltary and is calling for their removal.
"One thing that truly troubled me about my visit to Louisiana was the level of the military presence there. I imagined before that if the military had to be used in a CONUS (Continental US) operations that they would be there to help the citizens: Clothe them, feed them, shelter them, and protect them. But what I saw was a city that is occupied. I saw soldiers walking around in patrols of 7 with their weapons slung on their backs. I wanted to ask one of them what it would take for one of them to shoot me.

George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans..."
Also here. At the time of this posting, LGF isn't loading because they're being overrun by readers. This woman needs help, and I'm not being smart or Right-wing about this. She really needs some help. I think she may be mentally ill.

SPEECH, SPEECH
Did anyone watch W last night? I didn't see the entire speech, but what I saw I really liked. He admitted mistakes were make on his end. And recently Gov. Blanco did the same. Now if only Nagin would admit he helped kill over 400 people. But anyway, points include

- GO Zones, or Gulf Opportunity Zone, would provide tax relief and loans for businesses in the area
- Worker recovery accounts to help those who have lost their jobs find another
- Urban homesteading initiative would provide building sites to low-income citizens free of charge on the condition that they build on the lot with either a mortgage or help from an organization such as Habitat for Humanity.

There's point after point I could list, but you can read them for yourself. We keep hearing that Bush is racist, that he doesn't care about Black people, yet he's given more federal help than Clinton ever did. 15% of the U.S. budget goes to helping poor Blacks. What the Dems don't like is that Bush is talking about them helping themselves rather than the Government handing them everything. The Left doesn't like that because if they start to become self-sufficient they loose their iron-clad grasp they have on them.

Say what you will about Bush, but no president has ever been tried like this one. A massive terrorist attack in his first term and a huge natural disaster in his second, and each time he's managed to rise up and show what he's really made of.

UNWRAPPING THE SPIN
"Mr. Bush's performance last week will rank as one of the worst ever during a dire national emergency"
Bob Herbert of the New York Times.

But here's something you won't see Big Media reporting.
"The federal government pretty much met its standard time lines, but the volume of support provided during the 72-96 hour was unprecedented. The federal response here was faster than Hugo, faster than Andrew, faster than Iniki, faster than Francine and Jeanne."
Did you know it took five days for the National Guard to arrive after hurricane Andrew hit Homestead, Florida in 1992? It took three for Blanco to finally mobilize them after Katrina.

SCREW THE JEWS, AGAIN
Advisers to British Prime Minister Tony Blair are urging him drop the Jewish Holocaust Memorial Day because, get this, it's offensive to Muslims. And what do they want to do with the day instead? Call it Genocide Day and recognize the mass murder of Muslims in Palisine, Chechnya and Bosnia.
"The very name Holocaust Memorial Day sounds too exclusive to many young Muslims. It sends out the wrong signals: that the lives of one people are to be remembered more than others"
Bull. It's because they hate Jews. Plain and simple.

NEW LOOK
Well, with Summer over next week I had to change the look of the blog. This one is a filler look. Just to cleanse your pallet, so to speak, until my famous Christmas design comes out. I know how you all look forward to that. But anyway, hope you like it. And before I forget, Happy Grandparents day to those of you who may be Grandparents. I didn't think it appropriate to do that earlier, what with it being four years since the attack.

One question. Those of you with Firefox, what color do you all see in the side columns? Grey or white? It should be white but for some reason is showing up grey for me.

REMEMBERED
Here's poem I wrote that I thought I would share. I'm no poet, as you can tell, I hope you like it.

Will You Remember

Will you remember
where you were
when the world let out a collective sigh

We were attacked by craven cowards
who thought they could stop us
and beat us into submission
Little did they know that they only made us mad

Brave men and women ran into the smoke
to help save those that were trapped

They did this not for glory or fame or money
They did this because that's what they do
Some call them heroes and a few call them brave
But they just called themselves Human

Those 2996, including
those brave, heroic Humans
will never be forgotten

They left behind mothers, daughters,
sons, husbands, fathers, grandfathers,
grandmothers, nieces, nephews, cousins,
aunts, uncles and friends

Those are the other victims of that
tragic day
Thousands upon thousands
of unknown victims

We may live with the pain of our
country being attacked,
But they live with the pain of
no longer having their loved ones

TOLD YOU
In my post below, GOOD AND BAD, I stated the following

And we'll also be hearing from some of the more extreme that the victims had this coming for one reason or other, that God is punishing them.

And here it is.
"Although the loss of lives is deeply saddening, this act of God destroyed a wicked city," stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage. "From 'Girls Gone Wild' to 'Southern Decadence,' New Orleans was a city that had its doors wide open to the public celebration of sin. From the devastation may a city full of righteousness emerge," he continued.

PAPER FLAGS AND PLASTIC CROSSES
I just finished watching a documentary about W on Sundance, and surprisingly it remained fair. I know, I'm shocked as well. It was about how the religious right helped him become president. Anyway, it talked some about how Bush has shown that religion and politics do mix. About how embracing religion can help, and something kept running through my mind. they're right. We see it today with the Left. We see them now somewhat embracing religion and somewhat embracing the flag. They've seen that it worked for Bush and now they want to be a part of it, only one problem. They're not genuine. Do they expect the country to except that after decades of denying religion and spitting on the flag that now, all of the sudden, they've had a real change of heart. That they're not doing this for political gain. But here's the sad thing, there're are people who believe it. They're called Democrats. They saw John Kerry as the 2004 Democratic National Convention wrapping himself in his paper flags, showing his "love" for this country. They see Hillary going around carrying her plastic cross pretending to be a moderate, maybe even a little to the Right, and they believe it's real. They really show that Lincoln was right.

GOOD AND BAD
As we all know, a tragic event tends to bring out the best and the worst in people. And hurricane Katrina is no exception. We've seen the inherent good in people with the $600 million coming in from us average Joe Americans donating that $5 or $10 we may have laying around. People from around the country opening their homes and inviting complete strangers who have lost theirs to live with them. Companies around the countries extending their hands and offering jobs to people who no longer have one because it's under water. Banks giving their depositors $1,000, no strings attached, a loss to the bank themselves mind you. Churches around the country opening their doors for people who have no where to go.

But, sadly, we also see the worse of the human species at times like this. People like Kanye West, Al Sharpton and Howard Dean spewing forth their racist hate speech about Bush not caring about Blacks. The murders, rapes, theft and shootings that took place right after the hurricane hit. Florida Homeowners Associations refusing to allow their residents to bring in victims to live with them. And soon we'll be hearing about the low lifes who are trying to capitalize on the victims. The "handymen" who will "fix" your home for thousands less than an actual contractor for instance. And we'll also be hearing from some of the more extreme that the victims had this coming for one reason or other, that God is punishing them.

You know, when I make a post I tend to think ahead of time about what I'm going to say. You know, work it out. Bet you never could tell. But with this one, it just kind of came as I went. So I really don't have a way of ending it with some kind of snappy line or heart warming sentiment of my own. So, I thought I would end it with a poem I found because I like to think that in the end the good nature in humans will win out over the ignorance of the bad.
"We touch the sky
Reaching for the heavens the Earth
is golden below us
One frozen moment
together we leap

We fly with the mythical swans
of ambition, creativity and love
The Earth spins in space
Space is vast and beckoning

Vast is the human spirit
Free as the open mind
So many lives
So many dreams
Conscious and unconscious
The human spirit
has no limits
We touch the sky"

KANYE WEST BOOED
It seems Kanye West was booed last night during his performance last night at the kickoff to the football season. What? How dare these people use their first amendment right to let him know what they think about him. I mean really, did this moron think his asinine comments would get a rousing cheer at an NFL game?

Also, with my connections to the VR-WC I was able to obtain the artwork for Kanye's new album due out sometime around Christmas.

ANOTHER BLANCO SCREW-UP
If anybody doesn't care for black people, it's Gov. Kathleen Blanco. Have a look at this story that's not getting too much attention. It seems that under orders from Blanco, Red Cross supply trucks carrying food, water, blankets and hygiene products to be delivered to the Superdome were blocked. Why was this? Because, in their words, they "did not want to attract people to the Superdome and/or Convention Center". Gee, I wonder why Big Media isn't foaming at the mouth to report this? Oh, that's right, Blanco is a Democrat and they can't find a way to blame Bush for this one. Once again it's up to FNC to report what the others refuse.

The Only Thing Necessary For Evil To Triumph

BREAK IT DOWN FOR ME INDIAN CHRIS
Okay, I'll do just that.

In case you aren't familiar with how our government is SUPPOSED to work:
The chain of responsibility for the protection of the citizens in New Orleans is:

1. The Mayor
2. The New Orleans director of Homeland Security (a political appointee of the Governor who reports to the Governor)
3. The Governor
4. The Head of Homeland Security
5. The President

What did each do?

1. The mayor, with 5 days advance, waited until 2 days before he announced a mandatory evacuation (at the behest of the President). Then he failed to provide transportation for those without transport even though he had hundreds of buses at his disposal.

2. The New Orleans director of Homeland Security failed to have any plan for a contingency that has been talked about for 50 years. Then he blames the Feds for not doing what he should have done. (So much for political appointees)

3. The Governor, despite a declaration of disaster by the President 2 DAYS BEFORE the storm hit, failed to take advantage of the offer of Federal troops and aid. Until 2 DAYS AFTER the storm hit.

4. The Director of Homeland Security positioned assets in the area to be ready when the Governor called for them

5. The President urged a mandatory evacuation, and even declared a disaster State of Emergency, freeing up millions of dollars of federal assistance, should the Governor decide to use it.
Thanks John.

The following is what I've been able to find.

Here's something interesting written in 2004.

Also, have a look at this. From City of New Orleans Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.
III. EVACUATION ORDER

A. Authority

As established by the City of New Orleans Charter, the government has jurisdiction and responsibility in disaster response. City government shall coordinate its efforts through the Office of Emergency Preparedness

The authority to order the evacuation of residents threatened by an approaching hurricane is conferred to the Governor by Louisiana Statute. The Governor is granted the power to direct and compel the evacuation of all or part of the population from a stricken or threatened area within the State, if he deems this action necessary for the preservation of life or other disaster mitigation, response or recovery. The same power to order an evacuation conferred upon the Governor is also delegated to each political subdivision of the State by Executive Order. This authority empowers the chief elected official of New Orleans, the Mayor of New Orleans, to order the evacuation of the parish residents threatened by an approaching hurricane.

B. Issuance of Evacuation Orders

The person responsible for recognition of hurricane related preparation needs and for the issuance of an evacuation order is the Mayor of the City of New Orleans. Concerning preparation needs and the issuance of an evacuation order, The Office of Emergency Preparedness should keep the Mayor advised.

Also
V. TASKS

A. Mayor

* Initiate the evacuation.

* Retain overall control of all evacuation procedures via EOC(Emergency Operations Center) operations.

* Authorize return to evacuated areas.

And one last thing.
E. Louisiana National Guard

* Provide assistance as needed in accordance with current State guidelines.

Now this one is rather interesting because we have no idea when Gov. Blonco ordered the National Guard in because a gag order has been issued not allowing anyone to talk about it. Why would this be? The only reason I can come up with is because there is something to hide. The NG didn't show up for, what, 2-3 days afterwards. So it seems to reason that Blonco didn't order them in until then. But it's all Bush's fault.

MIND OF MENCIA
Recently I talk a little about the show Reno 911 and said that if you're not watching it you're missing out. Well, here's another show you should be watching. Mind Of Mencia. This is one funny ass show. Talk about politically incorrect. If he doesn't offend you then he's not doing his job. Every racial slur you can think of he says it. Every stereotype you can think of he does it. Obviously not for kids, but if you don't laugh then you don't like comedy. Wednesday nights on Comedy Central. Check it out.

YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN
That was the city of New Orleans' message to it's people. Read this. I think Mayor Nagin should listen to a particular Eric Clapton song that goes
Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself.
Before he goes around shooting his mouth off against Bush, maybe he should look in the mirror.

ON THE BANDWAGON
Bush has jumped on the Hillary bandwagon in calling for a investigation as to what went wrong with Katrina. Millions to be wasted just to come up what we already know. Government, on both local and federal levels, were inept and didn't properly prepare. You can spin that in any way that makes your point, but the basic fact is that they knew this would one day happen and nobody did anything right.

ARTISTS OF THE MONTH: LED ZEPPELIN
What can you say about Zeppelin that could do them justice? The greatest band on the planet. AC/DC may be my favorite, but Led Zeppelin is just that much better. Formed in 1968 in England, they are considered the Godfathers of metal/hard rock. Just straight up rock and blues mix, which is fitting since Robert Plant was a blues singer before being tapped by Page to join.

Zoso
Since this month is all about the Rock and Roll, what song could it be but Rock And Roll? Released on their fourth, and biggest, album. Which doesn't have a name. Most just call it Led Zeppelin IV or if you're a true Led Zeppelin fan, Zoso, but it was never officially titled. Rock And Roll is what a rock song should be. A fast and nasty sound with a heavy drum beat. The kind of song that'll get you a speeding ticket should you happen to be listening to it in your car. Enjoy.

It's been a long time since I Rock and Rolled,
It's been a long time since I did the Stroll.
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back,
Let me get it back, baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
Yes it has.

It's been a long time since the book of love,
I can't count the tears of a life with no love.
Carry me back, carry me back,
Carry me back, baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.

Seems so long since we walked in the moonlight,
Making vows that just can't work right.
Open your arms, opens your arms,
Open your arms, baby, let my love come running in.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.

Yeah, hey
Yeah, hey
Yeah, hey
Yeah, hey

Ooh yeah
Ooh yeah
Ooh yeah
Ooh yeah

It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.

I NEED MONEY, WHOLE LOTS OF MONEY
I'm in the hi-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear jet
Money it's a crime
Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie

It seems that Hillary thinks the Government should waste more of your money by creating a 9/11-style commission to figure out what exactly happened with hurricane Katrina. I can tell you what happened, and it won't cost you millions of dollars. The governor of Louisiana didn't properly prepare her state for something like this even though she knew what could happen if a category 5 storm were to hit. What also happened is that people either refused to leave or just weren't able to. That's the fault of the local government, not federal. Blanco and Nagin had the responsibility to get their people to safety, not Bush.

And guess who else is supporting Hillary's cockamamy idea? None other than closet Liberal John McCain. What a shock.

BIAS IN THE MEDIA
I was flipping through the channels last night and ran across the Communist News Network and got another layer of proof their Liberal bias. One of their "reporters" has a Reverend, I can't for the life of me remember his name, on talking about the situation in New Orleans. You should have seen her trying her hardest to get him to say that the delay in help was because they were black. He kept trying to tell her that he wasn't going to jump to conclusions but she wouldn't let it go. She was like a pitbull on the last piece of meat. If anyone can find a link for me let me know.

Happy labor day. The last official blowout of Summer. So get your grills out and cook up your steaks, your ribs, your peppers and corn. REDNECK LIFE
You've all seen me talk about being a redneck, you've probably even seen Jeff Foxworthy doing his redneck jokes. Well, for the benefit of you yankees and those of you outside the U.S. I thought I would give a little more insight into the redneck lifestyle. I small guide. Enjoy.

pool
Here we have the ultimate in luxury. The redneck swimming pool. On those hot days when even the dog won't come out from under the porch, you need something to cool off. If you don't have a truck, a trashcan works just a well.

gourmet
Here we have redneck gourmet food. Haught cuisine if you will. With cheap all you can eat buffets even uncle "bubba" will get his fill.

lawn
Here we see the finest in redneck lawn decoration. The more stuff in your front yard the better. If you can see the grass, you're not trying.

babysitter
Here we have the best redneck babysitter money can buy. Just plop them down and they're entertained for hours. Also good for husbands on Thankgiving and wives during the hours of 12 pm and 3 pm when her soaps are on.

wal-mart
Here we have the redneck's Macy's. And now with the Supercenters you can get your underwear and Tuesday night dinner all on one trip. Awesome.

mansion
And here we have the crowning achievement. The double wide mobile home. The redneck mansion. When you're lucky enough get your hands on one of these, you've made it baby. You're the king.

I hope this guide to redneck life has helped some. We may not have much, but what we have we'll defend with our lives, damnit.

BAD NEWS FOR DEMS
Chief Justice William Rehnquist has died. Rehnquist was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October of '04 and died tonight in his home with his three children by his side. He was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1971 by Richard Nixon and became Chief Justice in 1986 by Reagan.

That's two justices Bush now gets to nominate, and if you think we saw the Left throw a hissy fit over Roberts just wait. Whom ever it is that Bush nominates we're going see the Left go insane with their smears. Racism, incest, pedophilia and no telling what else. Of course I'm kidding about those charges, but you know they're going to go into nuclear meltdown.

VOICE OF THE LEFT 3
Yet more ignorance from the Left.

"Musician", Kanye West - GEORGE BUSH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE... They're saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food...they're giving the Army permission to shoot us.

Media whore, Jesse Jackson - Racism is partly to blame for the deadly aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP - the response was slow because those most affected are poor

And what could be my favorite. New Orleans Mayor, Ray Nagin - slams federal response as slow.

That one is quite possible my favorite because Mr. Nagin seems to feel no responsibility for this disaster what so ever. It's all the federal governments fault. They should have been more prepared. Bush should have looking into his crystal ball and knew that it would be this bad. He, Mr. Nagin, and Gov. Blanco's hands are apparently totally clean on this one. There's nothing that they, the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana, could have done to prepare their people for something like this. Typical Democratic logic, it's the federal governments problem to deal with. Deo may be able to back me up on this, seeing as how she lives in Los Angeles, but towns and cities near the San Andreas fault are prepared. They have supplies and medicine ready should an earthquake hit. They'll be able to take care of themselves for 2-3 days until aid is able to get in. New Orleans wasn't, and that's the fault of Mayor Nagin and Gov. Blanco, not Bush. They could have had water and food stored away. They could have had medicine on hand. They could have extra boats stored away for people to use to get to safety. They do live below sea level, they knew this would happen one day. It's laughable, and sad at the same time, that they didn't care enough to prepare ahead of time.

VOICE OF THE LEFT 2
From Them Democratic Underground.
"I had no idea how deeply my hate for that man ran. My lack of an interaction, with a * supporter is still haunting me a couple of hours later.

I was on my home and was on the ramp getting off the highway. I saw a mini-van on the side of the road. There was a lady standing next to the van and in her arms she held her child. I can only assume her mini-van had broken down. I don't know, perhaps with so many gad stations being out of gas, she had also run out. I slowed down and started to pull over to offer her a ride. At the very last second I noticed a "W" sticker on the back of her vehicle and I sped up and drove off.

I feel really bad as a human being. That child is not responsible for their parent's belief system. They are innocent and do not deserve to be out in the heat. (It is warm but not so bad that they would even break a sweat) I try not to punish people for what they believe.

On the other hand, so many hateful thoughts went through my head. I wondered how a person could see what was going on in NO and still have one of those awful stickers on their car. How could they support an awful excuse for a human being that has let our country down and is letting Americans die after they have made it through the storm? How can someone be so blind and so stupid?

I thought that if she loves * so much, maybe he would come along and help her the same way he is rescuing all of those poor people in the weather stricken part of our country. Let's see what her hero can do for her.

I never did go back. I was so upset with that sticker and with the fact that someone would support an idiot who is so clearly running our country into the ground.

So why am I writing this? It is not to boast, I really feel bad about passing this child and not picking up their mother. Perhaps it is for a catharsis of sorts? That would be an educated guess. I suppose it is because I feel conflicted and I am writing this to try and sort through what I am feeling. There are two emotional sides, for me, on this incident and neither seems completely right or wrong to me. Even writing this, I am still not able to work through what happened. I feel like I am floating between right and wrong and am unable to grab either side.

Thanks for listening."
Doesn't surprise me. That's a Lefty for you.

I have my own Kerry supporter story. Had to take my dog to get groomed today, and while there I saw a car there that still had a Kerry sticker in the window. I guess this woman is still dealing with P.E.S.T. Anyway, I walk into the office and she's leaving her dog at the kennel because she's about to go away for a week to sail around the British Virgin Islands. Man, it must be nice to be a rich Democrat and be able to sail the Virgin Islands, what with the price of gas skyrocketing and people needing to band together to help those in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
Thanks John.

LORD OF THE FLIES 2
Deo's made the best comparison for what's going on it New Orleans.

Rape, murder, stealing of watches and t.v.'s, beatings and shootings. People have revered down to primitive human behavior. It's sad what's going on and most in the media are excusing it because "they're the poorest of the poor and have lost everything". Now, admittedly, Americans can be assholes, but this is nothing more than animal behavior. Taking food, water and medicine is perfectly fine, but taking televisions and jewelry is inexcusable. Going into peoples homes, walking over their dead bodies, to take what you can is inexcusable. Gangs walking the streets beating and killing people is sick. It's scary watching people devolve like this.

DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS
Jake sent me this video of what could only be explained as a haunted car. What it is is a commercial for a car that was never aired. What you'll see is a car going up a winding road. You'll see the car come around one curve then go behind a tree or something. When it comes out, if you'll look, you can clearly see two people in the car. It'll then go behind another three and when it comes out it looks like there's no one in the car, but you'll see a quick glimpse of what looks like a body sitting in the driver seat. Is it a ghost? I don't know, but if this was done with trick photography or something then they did a good job. It's kind of strange. When the car goes by the camera you can hear the people behind the scenes asking what happened. Have a look and see if you think it's real or not. It's WMV so you'll need Windows Media Player.
Thanks Jake.
