Lipstick

While it's obvious that Obama's joke about "lipstick on a pig" was a shot at Gov. Palin, bulldog/lipstick-pig/lipstick, he wasn't calling her a pig. It was a bad attempt to hit McCain and his "Bush 3rd term" policies. But that's not what this post is about. This post is about whether or not the Obama campaign stole the quip or not. Here's what Obama said,
John McCain says he’s about change too. Exce- and and so I guess his whole angle is - watch out, George Bush - except for economic policy, healthcare policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy, and Karl-Rove-style politics, we’re really gonna shake things up in Washington.

That’s not change.

That’s that’s just callin’ sumpin’ the same thing somethin’ different.

But you know, you can’t, you know, you you can put, ah, lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.
Now take a look at this cartoon done four days before Obama made the comment.
Very similar. Is Obama becoming the next Ward Churchill or Jason Blair?
