Job Creation We Can Believe In

The Polk County school district in Florida is using $350,000 in stimulus money to buy iPods for parents of disabled students. Is this really the best use of our tax dollars?

UPDATE
The news outlet that reported this has since updated the story to say that the school district won’t be giving iPod’s to parents.

Chris, your post is incorrect. This has nothing to do with stimulus money and no iPods are being purchased for parents. Why haven't you updated this post like you did on Hooah Wife?

Oops. Forgot all about that. Thanks for reminding me.

Your update is still misleading, though. The money never came from the stimulus bill. It would have come from the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act which was passed by the Bush Administration and a Republican majority in Congress.

I hope you correct this post and the one on Hooah Wife.
