CLOSE CALL
Just had the scare of my life. I was looking in the mirror and happened to notice a small dark spot on the inside of my mouth that wasn't there yesterday. And what's the first thing that comes to mind? Cancer. Went looking online to see what was up and some sites were saying that a small spot like could be an early sign of oral cancer. Just looked at it with a flashlight and realized it was only a small bite mark. I must have done it while sleeping. I fell both relieved and stupid. Only a few times I've ever been that scared.

I have a joke for that but it's a little to crass, even for me.

You know my Dad's had cancer twice? The primary was 12 years ago, and the secondary was only this year.

Any cancer you can see like that isn't really worth worrying about - it can simply be removed. The ones that should scare you are the ones you can't see, and then, only once you've got them, at which point being scared isn't really worth it, is it?
