WHAT TO DO/NOT TO DO IN CASE OF HURRICANE
Below I've compiled a list of things that should and shouldn't be done in case of a hurricane.

What Should Be Done
-Call in National Guard before the storm
-Mandatory evacuation before the storm
-Have food, water and other supplies ready before the storm
-Empty hospitals before the storm
-Have buses begin to evacuate people before the storm

What Shouldn't Be Done.
-Everything Blanco and Nagin did

It seems Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, a Republican, knows what to do. The list of things to do are the things he's done. Maybe Blanco should pay attention to Perry, just in case she's in office the next time a hurricane head towards Louisiana.

1) What would the National Guard have done before the storm?
2) Plenty of state's National Guards WERE called in before the storm anyway, but were delayed by Washington.
3) Mandatory evacuation WAS before the storm.
4) Empty which hospitals? The ones inside the city about to be hit?
5) And how are you going to get people onto the buses, especially when a lot of those people don't want to leave because they have nowhere else to go?
