STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH
Revenge Of The SithFinally, after five and a half months I've finally seen this movie. And let me say, FREAKIN' AWESOME. Not for one second during the two hours was I not riveted. If you're a fan, and like me, didn't see it in theater, rent this DVD. Why rent, because before long Lucus will be releasing the I, II & III box set. The wait will be worth it. And now I see why it was rated PG-13. Vader getting burned to a crisp was pretty graphic for a SW movie, plus a lot of decapitations. A lot. Perfect movie.5 stars

Now to address the controversy of the storyline and Bush. It's true, but I think everyone has it turned around. Think about it. The Jedi, the good guys, are the ones that keep order and are there when someone is in danger. That's America. The Sith are a group of people bend on destroying democracy and taking control of the galaxy. That's al-Qaeda. Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious is bin Laden, Anikin Skywalker/Darth Vader is al-Zarqawi and Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus is Saddam. However, I do love this dialog:

ANAKIN: Sometimes, I wonder what's happening to the Jedi Order . . . I think this war is destroying the principles of the Republic.

PADME: Have you ever considered that we may be on the wrong side?

ANAKIN: What do you mean?

PADME: What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists, and the Republic has become the very evil we have been fighting to destroy?

ANAKIN: I don't believe that. And you're sounding like a Separatist!

PADME: Anakin, this war represents a failure to listen . . . Now, you're closer to the Chancellor than anyone. Please, please ask him to stop the fighting and let diplomacy resume.

Sorry to get all geeky on you. Don't you just love that close minded Liberal view of the world?
