Tag 'Em & Bag 'Em

Children in Belgium are to be giving electronic I.D. cards to help reunite them with their parents should anything happen to them. Great idea, but I'd take it step further. You know those I.D. chips people put in their pets should they get lost? Make them for kids. That way they can't lose them like they could a card. And maybe I've seen too many James Bond movies, but make them trackable. Should a child be kidnapped or run away, the police could simply track them down. Also great for when they grow up and commit a crime. Calling George Orwell. You know, I should really read that book one day.
Story.

How perfect! I’m using Orwell to make a point for an article I'm doing tomorrow. So I have a quote ready…

"Pacifism is objectively pro-Fascist. This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side you automatically help that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one."

-Orwell-

1984 will scare the crap out of you, mostly because that's where our nation is headed if left up to the Left.

I marked all the pages that had a similarity to current Leftist ideals or ones promoted by orgs like Move On, etc. Woooo, 84 must be their handbook!

Deo, you obviously never read it with any detail. Orwell specifically states that the Ingsoc movement was NOT socialism.

Specifically re-read the passages in Goldstein's book - it points out that socialism was a movement to free people, and that Ingsoc was the opposite in its guise.
