Let Me Be Clear

So President Obama tried to sell his budget plan today and he talked about using a scalpel instead of a machete to make nothing cuts in spending. At which point I got the idea for some of my famous artwork, which I haven't done much of lately. I knew what I wanted but, since I'm unable to draw, I had to improvise. I tried finding a picture of what I wanted and use it. No. I tried using the standard shapes that Photoshop provides. No. So in the end I have to resort to describing it and letting you use your imagination. Sad, I know, but it's all I got. Okay, so picture it: it's a jungle with the caption "National Debt" and in it stands President Obama holding a scalpel labeled "Budget Plan" and he's saying either his standard "Let Me Be Clear" or "Hey, It's A Start". See, how awesome would that have been?

O

Been watching the original "V" on Syfy and I couldn't help but notice some of the similarities between it and the Obama administration. They came with promises of hope and a better life but some saw a hidden ulterior motive. They end up bringing in someone to help spread their propaganda (NEA & MSNBC), they go after the media when they try to expose the truth (FNC), in the show it's our leaders who give control of the media to them where as here they've just rolled over and surrendered themselves, we start to give more and more control to them, people start to be afraid to criticize them and they take advantage of a "crisis". I wonder if ABC will change these things in their updated version?

Pride Of The Fleet

In this country, some of our presidents have Naval destroyers named after them. It's to commemorate their leadership and honor what they stood for. For example, here we have the USS Ronald Reagan. Gliding through the water, ready to protect us. Don't mess with her or her crew. And here we have the USS George H.W. Bush. Impressive looking. I bet she packs a punch. And here we have the concept design of the future USS Barack Obama. Just look at those lines. And it's loaded with the latest in weaponry. A fitting ship for our president.

The People's Album

Venezuelan dictator, Hugo Chavez, is releasing an album. I, your humble blogger, have been able to procure an advanced copy of his album.

It's a Techno/Dance album and DJ Vez, has he likes to be called, is pretty good. He can lay down some pretty phat beats. Some hard, fast, driving songs on here. There are only six songs on the disk, but it runs just under 45 minutes, so you get plenty of music. Below is the track listing.

1. Fidels Groove
2. Rights Are Overrated
3. Viva La Revolution (DJ Guevara Mix)
4. Heartache
5. Big Dick.Tator
6. Socialist Dream (Barack Obama Change 2008 Remix)

Heartache is a strange song. It's sort of a love song. Odd that it would be here, but it works. Viva La Revolution is good. But Socialist Dream is the best one. You really feel the hope coming through. "Fear Not/We're Here To Help/Blind Like A Sheep/It's All Under Control". Amazing. This is an Album Of The Year candidate for sure.

That's Just Biden Being Biden

"I was shot at while in Iraq." No, that's no Hillary telling her tall tale again, that's Joe Biden last year.
Number one, you take all the troops out - you better have helicopters ready to take those 3,000 civilians inside the Green Zone, where I have been seven times and shot at.
Only thing is, like Clinton, Biden wasn't exactly shot at. We was in a building near a building that was attacked. Then there's another Bidenism where he made it seem like a helicopter he was riding in over Afghanistan was forced down by enemy fire. But it was only the weather.

Gaffe or Ignorance By Obama

I'm going to call in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and give them a new mission, and that is to bring the war in Iraq to a close. We are going to get out.
Only a small problem. The JCoS don't have command over U.S. military forces. Did Obama just make an honest gaffe or does our next potential president not know the chain of command on a VERY important topic such as this? You also have to notice the outright bias of the media. Back in 1999, then Gov. Bush was running for office and he was asked to name the leaders of Chechnya, Taiwan, India and Pakistan. He only got one of them. The media had a field day with it. Something tells me you won't see anything like that here. If anyone in the media is actually brave enough to call him out on it, he'll just laugh it off and they'll eat it up. I mean, after all, the Messiah is never wrong.
