Get Your Nose Out Of My Business Before I Cut It Off

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press;...
More talk about the return of the "Fairness Doctrine".
Further, the White House website lists on its technology agenda page that the president plans to "encourage diversity in the ownership of broadcast media, promote the development of new media outlets for expression of diverse viewpoints, and clarify the public interest obligations of broadcasters who occupy the nation's spectrum."
If people don't want it, you can't for it on them. That's why Air America failed. The people didn't want it. They didn't like it. We are falling down a spiral towards government injecting itself into every aspect of our lives.

Al Gore's Propaganda Machine

Every drug dealer knows, get them early and you have a client for life. So does Gore.

Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid

This will make your mind explode. Not sure if that link will work like that or not. If it doesn't, go to foxnew.com/glennbeck and look for a story called "Too Smart". We should all be scared of this.

Gunnery Sgt. Nick Popaditch
Gunnery Sgt. Nick Popaditch
USMC

In 2003, Sgt. Popaditch, along with 1st Tank Battalion, rolled into Baghdad from Kuwait at the start of the Iraq War. They had just taken the city and the tank that Sgt. Popaditch was in had rolled up to a 40-ft statue of Saddam. I think we all remember that statue. Popaditch was given a cigar by a fellow Marine and as he smoked it an AP photographer snapped a picture of him.

Fast forward to April 7, 2004. Sgt. Popaditch's wife was vacationing with their son when she received a phone call informing her that her husband had been injured in an attack. The turret of his tank, that he was situated in, had taken two direct hits from RPG's. He fell through the hatch to the floor of the tank. As he struggled to his feet, he began to shout orders to his men but go no response. He then realized that the attack had caused him to go deaf in both ears. But that was only temporary. He then reached up and felt that his head was wet and knew it wasn't good.

In the aftermath of the attack, Gunnery Sgt. Nick Popaditch had lost his right eye. And because of that he now proudly wears a prosthetic eye with the Marine Corps. logo embossed on it. On November 10, 2005 Gunnery Sgt. Nick Popaditch was awarded the Silver Star, the nation's third-highest award for heroism in combat. He also has a book out titled Once A Marine.

Change? I Think Not

Bill Richardson, Timothy Geithner and now Tom Daschle. What ever happened to "Politics Of Change" and "A New Age Of Responsibility"? At least Richardson had the decency to withdraw his name. Geithner and Daschle should be in prison, not in cabinet seats. When Obama won the election and I posted an image of a tombstone with the declaration "The Day America Died", this is exactly what I was talking about. My America is dead. The America where people get punished for crimes, not promoted. But sadly, this started happening long before Obama won the election. But he's now part of the problem with his nominees and this "stimulus" package that will do nothing but hurt us even more than we already are. And the media, and most Republicans, are largely silent on these matters. America, my America, was on life support. Obama's election was it's last gasp. Optimistic of the future? Not me.

UPDATE 1
And here's another one. What is it with Obama and picking people who can't pay their taxes?

UPDATE 2
Tom Daschle shows he has a brain after all. Now, when we see him in a jail cell? I won't be holding my breath.

Stupid Bowl

Yeah, I don't watch Throwball. I watch Football, or Soccer. But I will be taping the game because they're going to be airing a new trailer for Star Trek.

My prediction for the game? 3+ hours of sheer boredom with a 30 second bright spot.

UPDATE
Just watched the tape. I'd originally taped because of Star Trek, but there were two other movies that caught my attention.

G.I. JOE: The Rise Of Cobra
First off, this isn't G.I. JOE. G.I. JOE is U.S. Armed Forces. This movie is a NATO type force. I believe I called in an abomination of JOE in the past. I still stand behind that. The trailer looked good, but I won't be seeing it.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen
Excited. Loved the first one, and this one looks just as good.

Star Trek
What a let down. That commercial didn't show a damn thing. I wanted to see the Enterprise, the bridge, Nimoy's Spock. It didn't do the movie any favors.

2 Kids Per Household

That's the recommendation from the chairman of the UK's Sustainable Development Commission, Jonathon Porritt.
curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming.
So this git is advocating that abortion become law? I thought the UK was looking more like the Middle East, not China. I can't help but wonder how far we are from something like this. With all the Global Warming zealots out there, there's bound to be one who'll make something like this happen somewhere.
