Recently, a new set of Rules Of Engagement came down to our troops in Afghanistan. And they're not too happy about them. The Times only has a few listed, but these thing seem dumb if not down right dangerous. They have to warn people prior to searches, they can't search at night or do surprise searches, they can't engage the enemy unless they're getting ready to attack and they can't engage a terrorist unless they spot them actually setting an IED. So, essentially, they have to tell the Taliban when and where they're going so they hide or run and hope to God that they have a faster trigger finger. SSG_E has been following this, so if you happen to have a website that lists all the new ROE could you pass it along?
