Can anyone really be surprised? I mean, this is the home of Keith Olbermann and the former home of Phil Donoghue. MSNBC is the home of far-Left hate so Rosie would be a perfect fit. I would say that it would be a miserable failure, but we've seen Left-wing hatred on the rise in this country so a Rosie with an Olbermann lead in would be a dream for these idiots.

Talk Show Double Standard

By now you've all heard about what happened at Oprah's school in Africa. But I wonder how many of you have caught the double standard people have about this story. If you'll remember back a few years, talk show host Kathi Lee Gifford got into some hot water over her clothing line using children to make the clothes. She was ripped apart by the media and people in general. Some still make jokes about it today. And yet, Oprah has received nothing but sympathy. Why is this? Well, I have two theories. What are the two differences between Oprah and Gifford?

1) Oprah is a Democrat and Gifford is a Republican. Could this play into it? Maybe, but not to the extent as I think the second reason does.

2) And that second reason is that Oprah is black and Gifford is white. That's what I think the main reason is. People don't want either be seen as racist or feel like they may be racist so they sympathize with Oprah and wonder how she doing. Will she be all right? Can she overcome this tragedy? There have been jokes and comedy skits about Oprah. But those were in good fun. People don't want to do anything that would give appearance of an attack.

Hey, Democrats. News flash, Bush isn't running.

47 times they brought up his name at their debate. Yes, the Dems actually had a debate on Oct. 30. But don't feel bad about not seeing it. It was on MSNBC, so no one saw it.

Media Study

A new study done by the Project for Excellence in Journalism and Harvard's Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy has found that the media is biased towards Democrats.

Democrats are not only favored in the tone of the coverage. They get more coverage period. This is particularly evident on morning news shows, which "produced almost twice as many stories (51% to 27%) focused on Democratic candidates than on Republicans."

The most flagrant bias, however, was found in newspapers. In reviewing front-page coverage in 11 newspapers, the study found the tone positive in nearly six times as many stories about Democrats as it was negative

In a related study, The Center For The Obvious has found that more people tend to wear coats during the Winter months than during the Summer months and that humans tend to buy more CD's than dogs.

Damn right. I saw something on FNC that's not in this article. They were interviewing the father, Al Snyder, and Fred Phelps said that if his appeal fails he'll just declare bankruptcy and he, Snyder, will never seen any of that $10.9 million. Either way this asshole pays.
