The 32-year-old ban on handguns in the nation's capital has been ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Now, I've made it no secret that I'm not a fan of guns. I'm all for gun control, but as long as we have the Second Amendment people have the right to own one. Of course it all depends on how you interpret the what the amendment means. It says "A well regulated militia..." which we don't need anymore because we have the best military on the face of the planet, but the law is there. Maybe if the founding fathers had been a little more specific.
Now, that being said, I have to call Sen. Feinstein out on her criticism of the ruling.
I believe the people of this great country will be less safe because of it
Really? D.C. is one of the most crime riddled cities in the country. How was this ban making people more safe?
