On September 15 President Obama will award the Medal Of Honor to Cpl. Dakota Meyer. On Sept. 8, 2009 Meyer risked his life multiple times during a firefight in Ganjgal, Afghanistan to rescue Afghan soldiers his unit was training and find three fellow Marines and a Navy corpsman who went missing during the battle. Cpl Meyer will be only their third living recipient of the award.
