Children don't die from abortion. fertilised eggs die, foetuses die, cellular material that COULD become children, die. not even babies die from abortion ('child' comes after 'baby'/'infant').
Though some people's attitude towards abortion/contraception is a bit disturbing "Oh. Pregnant again. Yawn. Oh well, better go get another 'scrap'"
Murph, those are the abortions I would love to see outlawed. The woman going in for her third for forth or the 14-year-old girl who's "not ready to have a baby". If you're ready for sex, you're ready for the consequences.
Yeah. there's so much about that kind of behaviour that is reckless, irresponsible, soul-destroying, but I don't feel I, or anyone else, has the right to tell someone what they can't do to with/to their body (especially as a man on the topic of abortion).
I may not agree with some peoples' reckless lifestyle, but don't think that the law has the right to impose moral values on them
Yes and no. If it's a mother who's really struggling with hard times, then no. But if it's a woman who has too many kids and just won't work, then yes. I also feel there should be a cap on how much is given and a time limit on how long it's given.

Chris - counterpoint question:
Are you against single mothers getting welfare?
