"Always frame conflict as a clash of ideas, not persons." yeah, but then you get people saying 'It's all Islam's fault", not terrorist's fault, or 'Socialism/Communism is trying to get us' not 'the Russians want(ed) to bomb us off the map'. The problem with that is it is no longer quantifiable, and leads to blind panic, irrational fear, and potentially unnecessary loss of life, and endless wars... So maybe it's safer to tackle the problem at hand, than have quasi-thought crime
