On a recent airing of the Riz Kahn Show on al-JaQaeda International, ACLU lawyer, Steven Watt, stated that extraordinary rendition flights are just as bad as a beheading. Now, I had to actually look up what an extraordinary rendition flight was because I didn't know. It's the sending of terror suspects to another country to be held and interrogated. Really? That's just as bad as having your head lobbed off? Really?

SANTA CLAUS ARRESTED

SAN FRANCISCO (RWRM News) - Santa Clause was arrested early Monday morning by San Francisco Police at the behest of the ACLU. The jolly fat man known the world over for bringing presents to good little boys and girls was arrested Christmas morning on charges of instigating a riot when citizens of San Francisco began to burn cars and destroy private property upon hearing Mr. Claus reciting, "Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas".
"I was incensed" said one woman. "How dare he say something like that. Chri... Chris... I can't even say it. All I know is it offended me and my children".
Said Anthony Romero, ACLU Executive Director, "This is a great day for freedom. This Mr. Claus has been going around the world spreading his religious hatespeech far too long. We will not sit idly by and let people say the 'C' word like this. It must be stopped. We plan to take this matter to the highest court in the land. Mr. Kringle must be stopped".
After hearing about the arrest children all over the world began to cry. Mrs. Sarah Stephens, mother of three, said "We depend on Santa. We can't afford to buy our children toys for Christmas and he wasn't able to make it to our house this year. What are we to do now?" Upon hearing this, Mr. Romero was quoted as saying, "Too bad. Contact the government. That's what they're there for. To take care of us".
Mr. Kringle was said to be just finishing up at an orphanage when the police nabbed him.
"This is bullshit," said Santa about his arrest. "I've never heard of such trumped up charges in my life. This is just another example of the Neo-Libs trying to force their views on the rest of the country. Kids, don't worry, Santa will beat this. MERRY CHRISTMAS...MERRY CHRISTMAS".
Mr. Kringle's lawyer, Alan Thomas, rushed to his defense. "Mr. Claus is innocent of all charges", he said during a press conference. "The ACLU and the city of San Francisco are trying to silence a man for doing only one thing. Exorcising his first amendment right. This travesty of justice will be rectified. Christmas will not be stopped". Upon saying that Mr. Thomas was then arrested himself.
"This has gotten out of hand", said one man who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal. "This whole anti-Christmas sentiment that's sweeping though this country has gone too far. I was too scared to even put up lights this year. My children were threatened by their school mates just last week for bringing candy canes to class".
Ms. Heather Fong, San Francisco Chief Of Police, refused to return our calls. But Officer Thomas Hall said, "That old man sure can put up a fight. He took three of our best before we were able to subdue him".
Blitzen and Comet were said to inconsolable after the arrest. But Dasher had this to say, "Santa will not be in jail for long. I guarantee that. This injustice will not stand. FIGHT THE POWER!!!".

Have A Very Merry Festive ACLU Christmas Seasonal Celebration
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
There was Santa again, on his annual journeys,
Ensnared in a group of eight tiny attorneys.
They looked pretty grim and they threatened to sue,
So we knew in a flash--"It's the ACLU!"
They paid us no heed but went straight to their work,
Handcuffing poor Santa, then said with a smirk:
"This is secular airspace, we can't have a saint
Flying our flight paths--we need some restraint.
A sleigh full of toys is OK, we suppose,
But faith-based incursions we've got to oppose."
Litigation on Christmas is something we dread,
So we nestled our children all under their bed.
The Grinch doesn't scare them, and Scrooge they see through,
But what kids are prepared for the ACLU?
The reindeer were shackled as a further incitement,
Then the lawyers unpackaged a 12-count indictment.
"Merry Christmas to all!" they just had to foreclose
(Though they had no complaint about all the "Ho, ho's").
One lawyer objected to Santa's red clothing.
"It's religiously tainted," he said with some loathing.
"Poinsettias (the red ones) everybody must note, are
A church-state offense in St. Paul, Minnesota!"
Santa's climb up each chimney (one lawyer made mention)
Is a symbolic reference to Jesus's Ascension.
And the reindeer, of course, recall the Apostles,
And those who deny it are nothing but fossils.
These lawyers had labored at neighborhood schools,
Making Christmas extinct there as part of the rules.
Praise Kwanzaa or Ramadan--they think it's quite splendid,
But say "Merry Christmas" and you could get suspended.
Our children, God bless them, don't get or recall
Why "inclusiveness" doesn't include them at all,
Why diversity theory (as the lawyers insist) must
Require the annual quashing of Christmas.
In Canada, home of post-everything living,
Now "The 12 Days of Christmas" are "The 12 Days of Giving."
Christmas trees aren't part of their season at all.
They buy "multicultural trees" at the mall.
At a hospital (Catholic) the staff is ashamed
To use the word Christmas, so their tree is misnamed
As a "care tree," though some would prefer "tree of life."
(Why not "tall lit-up flora" to avoid any strife?)
Australians were told they should have no compunctions
Calling parties at Christmastime "end-of-year functions."
The idea is to make Christmas somehow unmentionable,
A tactic I think of as wholly contemptible.
Instead of "White Christmas," they will probably sing
"I'm dreaming of a snow day some time in pre-spring."
Here's my suggestion, a harsh one I fear,
Why not call Christmas "Christmas"? (It's just an idea.)

The San Francisco Board of Education voted on Tuesday to kick the JROTC out of local High Schools because they don't like the military's "don't ask don't tell" policy. I wonder. Where's the ACLU? These students civil rights are being violated. If it were a Gay organization that was being kicked out of a High School because the BOE didn't agree with their practices, you know the ACLU would have filed a lawsuit within an hour after the ruling.

That's right, I used the dirty "C" word. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, ACLU. Anyway, if you're a long time reader than you know I like to decorate the blog for Christmas. I like to think that I do a pretty good job of it. I've gotten a few compliments. Seeing as it's less than four months, I actually get the Christmas design up on Dec. 1, so it's only three months, I'm already working on it. I hope I won't disappointed this year. Last year I started it July and changed about 5-6 times before I finally came up with one I liked. Stay tuned, I think this year will be real festive.

I don't much about the law, nor do I pretend to, but couldn't this be considered a conflict of interest? The judge that recently ruled that the NSA wiretaps were illegal donated, through her foundation, $45,000 to the ACLU. The ACLU were the ones who filed the case under bogus reasons. The ACLU, in yet another case of judge shopping, "found" yet another one that would be sympathetic to their causes.

A 34-year-old Ohio man claims that smoking marijuana and having sex with children is his civil right.
And before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, the ACLU has nothing to do with this case. At least as far as I know.

I thought the ACLU was supposed to stand up for the little guy. To bring equality to everyone. And, at one time, that's what they did. So, please, someone tell me how opposing signs in Sterling Heights, Michigan be written in English is protecting civil rights? Because I don't get it.

As you all know, the Mt. Soledad cross is in trouble. If you don't know, the Mt. Soledad cross is a memorial put up in California erected during the Korean War in honor of the men and women in the armed forces. As you may also know, the ACLU is trying to get it torn down. The cross is on private property but that doesn't matter to them. The people of San Diego voted to hand over the land to the federal government and it was declared a national monument. The ACLU didn't care about that. They went to a state judge and got the ruling overturned. The city will now have to remove the memorial in less than 90 days unless a state or federal judge orders a stay of the order or President Bush or Congress steps in and takes the land. Have any of you actually sat and wondered why Fox News Channel is so dominate? Why they're able to crush CNN and MSNBC day after day, week after week, year after year. Is their right-leaning coverage? Is it Bill O'Reilly himself. No. It's not that hard to figure out. Just watch their prime time line-up. On their prime block, 7PM-10PM CST, FNC covers stories like states that won't pass Jessica's Law, the border problem, the latest asinine news from the ACLU and the screw ups at the UN. While MSNBC's number story of the night is "American Idol" and Britney Spears. Plus you got Keith Olbermann who's a complete waterbrain jackass. He actually had comedian Carlos Mencia come on and be his "expert" on illegal immigration. I like Mencia and all, but having him be your expert? And I don't even watch CNN. No one with an IQ over 70 watches CNN. I mean really, is it any wonder FNC has become number one in less than ten years?

During the tyrannical era of Saddam's rule, the structure of water supply for the neighboring cities of Baghdad was permitted to decay. This forced 300,00 residents to get their water from nearby canals. A practice that was dangerous, for not only health reasons, i.e. filthy water in the canals caused severe intestinal outbreaks, but also those who went to the canals were in constant danger of being shot at by the insurgents.
The Iraqi government took the directive in planning and organizing these projects, proving how far they have come in terms of having the ability to lead their towns, cities and ultimately their own nation. The local leaders in cooperation with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division engineer project office made the restoration of water a priority. A top priority that brought with it the good news, which is now pouring, forth from this region, and due to the recent drop in insurgent activity it allowed such projects like this one to be completed ahead of schedule.
This major repair project took place in three stages, restoring the Kaa Kaa Water Treatment facility, the renovation of the SheShibar Booster Station, which pumps and routes the water to various locales and lastly the repairing of the broken feeder line, which had been ruptured when the insurgents detonated an improvised explosive device.
Furthermore, in the town of Al Muhawil, located about 54 miles south of Baghdad, a new water treatment plant opened recently. Mayor Hussein Jabor, of Al Muhawil and Captain Brian McCarthy, commander, Troop B, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division began working together a couple of years ago along with other coalition forces and the Iraqi citizens to help meet the needs of those in the communities and towns. With the ribbon cutting ceremony now fulfilled one million cubic liters of water are pumping through the Al Muhawil station on a daily basis. Currently as plans move forward, a similar project will be concluded on the other side of town later this year, which will, "bring clean drinking water to more than 20,000 residents for the first time in many years," according to Captain McCarthy. Add to this good news, the fact that clean water will benefit farmers, and a healthy agricultural industry creates a stronger economy. Such a simple everyday need has far-reaching positive accomplishments.
It appears to be a worldwide belief that the only thing coalition forces do is patrol the streets or track down terrorists, but what our forces have and are achieving reaches far beyond our limited view. According to Mayor Jabor, "People need to see the progress being made. They need to know that we're taking care of the future of Iraq. Soon, our security forces will allow us to live and prosper all over this great country of ours."
Our praise goes out to the new Iraqi government and to the ingenuity of the fellow coalition forces for working hard to provide clean and safe water for the Iraqi citizens. A precious commodity that we take for granted here, now flows forth freely, to be enjoyed straight from the tap- streaming into a waiting glass.
The Iraqi government took the directive in planning and organizing these projects, proving how far they have come in terms of having the ability to lead their towns, cities and ultimately their own nation. The local leaders in cooperation with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division engineer project office made the restoration of water a priority. A top priority that brought with it the good news, which is now pouring, forth from this region, and due to the recent drop in insurgent activity it allowed such projects like this one to be completed ahead of schedule.
This major repair project took place in three stages, restoring the Kaa Kaa Water Treatment facility, the renovation of the SheShibar Booster Station, which pumps and routes the water to various locales and lastly the repairing of the broken feeder line, which had been ruptured when the insurgents detonated an improvised explosive device.
Furthermore, in the town of Al Muhawil, located about 54 miles south of Baghdad, a new water treatment plant opened recently. Mayor Hussein Jabor, of Al Muhawil and Captain Brian McCarthy, commander, Troop B, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division began working together a couple of years ago along with other coalition forces and the Iraqi citizens to help meet the needs of those in the communities and towns. With the ribbon cutting ceremony now fulfilled one million cubic liters of water are pumping through the Al Muhawil station on a daily basis. Currently as plans move forward, a similar project will be concluded on the other side of town later this year, which will, "bring clean drinking water to more than 20,000 residents for the first time in many years," according to Captain McCarthy. Add to this good news, the fact that clean water will benefit farmers, and a healthy agricultural industry creates a stronger economy. Such a simple everyday need has far-reaching positive accomplishments.
It appears to be a worldwide belief that the only thing coalition forces do is patrol the streets or track down terrorists, but what our forces have and are achieving reaches far beyond our limited view. According to Mayor Jabor, "People need to see the progress being made. They need to know that we're taking care of the future of Iraq. Soon, our security forces will allow us to live and prosper all over this great country of ours."
Our praise goes out to the new Iraqi government and to the ingenuity of the fellow coalition forces for working hard to provide clean and safe water for the Iraqi citizens. A precious commodity that we take for granted here, now flows forth freely, to be enjoyed straight from the tap- streaming into a waiting glass.

The ACLU usually prefers to stay in the shadows. They lurk there like criminals waiting to roll some drunk for what little money that he may have. They send out "advisory letters" which advises that the city or town either comply with their wishes, or they will tie them up in very costly legal proceedings. And it isn't so much the fight for what's right that is important to the ACLU. No, it's that big payoff of legal fees reimbursements that will be ordered by the judge. Taxpayers money going into the hands of this Anti American institution.
I received a letter from my Congressman a few months back in which he tried to assure me that the ACLU does not receive taxpayers money. Well, my Congressman is wrong.
There exists a little law where the option of requiring the losing party to reimburse the legal fees of the winning party in civil rights cases. So if the respondent in a civil rights case is the federal government and the government loses, who's paying the ACLU? We are, John/Jane Q. Taxpayer is footing that bill. The same is true on the state and local level.
So the ACLU uses this as a tool to intimidate cash-strapped cities and states to advance their agenda. For instance, the debate over public celebrations of Christmas. Every time it's been actually challenged in court, the ACLU loses. But yet, if your town puts up a nativity scene in your local park, the ACLU will send an "advisory letter." So your town will take it down and bow to the will of the mighty ACLU.
The ACLU is a terrorist organization. They are more powerful than Al Qaeda. Why do I say that? Because they use our own laws against us. They are destroying us from within. And this is why they are concerned about the NSA eavesdropping program. Because they know, if we can listen in on Al Qaeda, we can listen in on anyone who is a threat to our way of life. And that means them too. That is using their twisted logic anyway.
This is why they are pushing the domestic spying falsehood. If the NSA were listening in on your conversation with Aunt Mildred getting her cookie recipe, that would be domestic spying. In this program, one end of the conversation must be either known or suspected Al Qaeda. And at least one of the parties has to be outside of the United States. This being true, it cannot be labeled domestic can it?

The following is from the book The ACLU vs America: Exposing The Agenda To Redefine Moral Values. It is the testimony of Pratt Shafer, a nurse from Ohio, to a subcommittee of the U.S. House Of Representatives on March 21, 1996.
In September 1993, [my employer] asked me to accept assignment at the Women's Medical Center, which is operated by Dr. Martin Haskell. I readily accepted the assignment because I was at that time very pro-choice. I had even told my teenage daughters that if one of them ever got pregnant at a young age, I would make them get an abortion. So, because of the strong pro-choice vies that I held at that time, I thought this assignment would be no problem for me.
But I was wrong. I stood at a doctor's side as he performed the partial-birth abortion procedure-and what I saw is branded forever on my mind.
On the first day, we assisted in some first-trimester abortions, which is all I'd expected to be involved in... On the second day, I saw Dr. Haskell do a second-trimester procedure that is called D&E(dilation and evacuation). He used ultrasound to examine the fetus. Then he used forceps to pull apart the baby inside the uterus, bringing it out piece by piece and piece, throwing the pieces in a pan.
On the third day, Dr. Haskell asked me to observe as he performed several of the procedures that are the subject of this hearing. Although I was in that clinic on assignment of the agency, Dr. Haskell was interested in hiring me full time, and I was being given orientation in the entire range of procedures provided as that facility.
The mother was six months pregnant... A doctor told her that the baby had Down's Syndrome and she decided to have an abortion...Dr. Haskell brought the ultrasound in and hooked it up so that he could see the baby. On the ultrasound screen, I could see the heart beating.
Dr. Haskell went in with forceps and grabbed the baby's legs and pulled them down into the birth canal. Then he delivered the baby's body and the arms-everything but the head. The doctor kept that baby's head just inside the uterus.
The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks he might fall.
The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I was completely unprepared for what I was seeing, I almost threw up as I watched the doctor do these things.
Dr. Haskell delivered that baby's head. He cut the umbilical cord and delivered the placenta. He threw that baby back in the pan, along with the placenta and the instruments he'd used. I saw the baby move in the pan. I asked another nurse and she said it was just "reflexes." I have been a nurse for a long time and I have seen a lot of death-people maimed in auto accidents, gunshot wounds, you name it. I have seen surgical procedures of every sort. But in all my professional years, I had never witnessed anything like this.
The woman wanted to see her baby, so they cleaned up the baby and put it in a blanket and handed the baby to her. She cried the whole time, and she kept saying, "I'm so sorry, please forgive me!" I was crying too. I couldn't take it. That baby boy had the most perfect angelic face I have ever seen.
