Well, the first thing I'd do is join the NY Times and begin to undermine the troops with every article I write. Then, I'd write stories that "bent the truth" to fit my view of the world. No matter how wrong it was. Then I claim the effort of the U.S. military was a failure the very first chance I got and ignore all the stories that contradicted me. Then I'd blame Bush for everything under the sun. That's how I would attack were I a terrorist.

The recent Democratic debate held on MSNBC, in which Olbermann was moderator, drew the lowest ratings so far this political season. Less than 1 million viewers. Gee, the ratings for his hate show suck and the ratings for his debate sucked. MSNBC, are you seeing a pattern here?

There's a rumor, that may have some merit, that Tom Cruise could make a cameo in the upcoming Star Trek movie as Captain Christopher Pike. For you non-Trekkers, Pike was the captain of the Enterprise before Kirk. I don't think it's a bad casting choice, but I just don't think Cruise could fit into a Starfleet uniform without looking totally out of place.

Three new pieces of news. Now, none of this is confirmed. Only rumor.
1) Paramount may be interested in having Russell Crow play a villain in the movie. I'd like to see that actually. Crow is a great actor.
2) Daughter of famed actor Syndey Poitier, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, has stated that she auditioned for J.J. Abrams for a role in the movie. Speculation on the site is that it is for Lt. Uhura. I'm certainly down for that. She's hot. Might be a little too old, but I think she could pull it off.
3) And it appears that the character of Pavel Chekov will indeed be included.
Yes, I am excited about this movie. Can you tell?

Duty, Honor, Country. Col. James Harrison Jr. embodied that ethos, said his family. He was committed to the mission of the United States in Afghanistan and spoke with great pride about the accomplishments of the men and women with which he served
Col. Harrison was killed on May 6 when a Taliban fighter, dressed as an Afghan police officer, shot him at point blank range at Pul-e-Charkhi prison near Kabul. Also killed along side Col. Harrison was Master Sgt. Wilberto Sabalu Jr. and two other soldiers were wounded. All four men were working as mentors to Afghan troops providing external security for the prison.
Harrison graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1981. He also graduated from the Military Police Basic and Advanced courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Command and General Staff College, the Army Inspector General Course, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University and a Master of Science degree in national security and strategic studies from the National Defense University. Before going to Afghanistan in December 2006, he was assigned to Fort Leavenworth as director of the School for Command Preparation at the Command and General Staff College.
He is survived by his wife and three sons.

We all know that Barck Obama wants to attack our allies while sitting down to tea with out enemies. Good one, Mitt. So, that got me to thinking. We know that countries like Canada, England, France & Germany all have sleeper cells on the inside. Does Obama support launching an attack on those countries as well? Will he give England one month to eliminate it's al-Qaeda cells before sending U.S. troops across the pond?
