I'm don't watch football, so I don't know who Seneca Wallace is, but he documented a recent USO tour he took to Kuwait. Check it out.

Are You Gay Or Something?

I was watching a show on BBC yesterday about actor John Borrowman trying to find out why he's gay. Why no one else in his family is but him. In it he went all over the world to find factors as to why and as the show goes on he's finding different scientific methods and stats that may determine why someone might be gay or straight. Every one of these methods and facts, except one, say he shouldn't be gay but he is. And these factors and stats they listed say, scientifically, that I should be but I'm not. Keep in mind that these are just theories and haven't been proven but I found it kind of fascinating. If you believe that it's a choice rather than how you're born then you probably won't like it but if you get BBC America you should check it out. It's called The Making Of Me: John Borrowman.

And The Award Goes To...

So the Academy Awards take place tonight. Big whoop. A bunch of self-congratulating morons patting each other on the back and kissing each others asses. I hope none of you are going to watch. Anyway, since the Oscars are so pointless I thought I would do my own award ceremony and nominate movies and actors that I fell really deserve to be congratulated. Now, I haven't seen many movies that came out in 2009 so I'm limited in what can win. Let's get started.

Best Writing - Original Screenplay: Moon. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks really good and very interesting.

Best Writing - Adapted Screenplay: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. A more grown up story compared to the previous films. But I haven't read the book so I'm not sure how close the movie is to it. But who cares.

Best Visual Effects: Star Trek. It's Trek. Nothing tops Trek.

Best Sound Mixing: Star Trek. They took the classic sound effects and updated them and it worked well.

Best Sound Editing: Star Trek. See a pattern forming?

Best Original Score: Star Trek. After you've watched the battle scenes, watch them again and listen to the music. Superb.

Best Director: J.J. Abrams. And what did he direct? That's right, Star Trek.

Best Costume Design: Star Trek. Just like sound mixing, the took the classic look of the uniforms and updated them and it worked.

Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Kristin Bell in Fanboys. Good movie, and a Female geek is always awesome.

Best Actress in a Leading Role: Kristin Kreuk in Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li. I don't care what anyone says, I liked this movie and I liked her in it.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Simon Pegg in Star Trek. I had my doubts when it was announced that he would play "Scotty", but he pulled it off.

Best Actor in a Leading Role: Chris Pine in Star Trek. Everyone had their doubts about him playing the iconic James T. Kirk, but he shut everyone up.

Best Picture: Star Trek. Did anyone think it would be anything else? It was hands down the best movie of 2009 I'd seen. Nothing came close.

Really?

I have a big problem with this. Not that she does it. What Jennifer Love Hewitt does to her vagina is her own business, but the fact that she felt the need to talk about it on national tv. Does anyone really need to know this? No. Can someone do me a favor? Let me know if the word "Decency' has been removed from the dictionary, because it sure has from society.

Rush Limbaugh In The Hospital

Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Hawaiian hospital on Wednesday with chest pains and was said to be in "serious condition". Here's some of the vile things I've seen on Twitter about this:

I hope Rush Limbaugh dies. I really do and I don't feel even the slightest bit bad for saying it.

Dear 2009: you have approximately 23.5 hours left to not suck, so sack up and LET RUSH LIMBAUGH DIE.

No one wants Rush Limbaugh to die. But they do want his doctors to fail.

Rush Limbaugh recovering in a Hawaii hospital. From the heavens a voice is heard to say... "Shit! I missed!"

That's just a small sample.
Some people just don't like "Bruno". I have to admit, I've never seen "Borat" and I don't plan on seeing "Bruno". Sasha Baron Cohen isn't funny. At all. Ever. I tried to watch "Ali G" but it was ignorant. I do like what John Nolte said at the end of the piece about actually being brave in his next film. But I don't think we'll be seeing anything like those ideas any time soon.

RIP Billy Mays

America's pitchman, Billy Mays, was found dead in his Tampa, Florida home today at the age of 50. What is going on here? First Ed McMahon then Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson and now Billy Mays.

RIP Michael Jackson

1958-2009

Say what you will about Jackson and his screwed up life, there is no denying that in the 80's he recorded some of the greatest songs of all time. Here's something odd. Before it was announced that he had died I was going today to pick up Thriller 25. Something tells me that I won't be able to find a copy now. May he find the peace in death that he couldn't in life.

The Rape Of A 14-Year-Old Girl Is Funny

As long as her last name is Palin.

This is why, as a Conservative, I can no longer watch talk shows or stand up comics or anything like that any more. Making jokes is one thing, but over the past 10 or so years it's reached a new low. And when it comes to Sarah Palin, and her family, it's reached levels I never thought it would. I'm surprised one of these celebutards/comedians hasn't come out and just wished someone to kill her. I wonder what the shit storm would be if Rush Limbaugh had done the same joke about Malia Obama? Letterman needs to just fade away. He's a has been that hasn't been funny for a very long time.

What's Happend To Janeane Garofalo?

She use to be funny and I really liked her in Mystery Men and Copland, but lately she's become of the most hateful and intolerant people on the planet.
Let's be very honest about what this is about. This is not about bashing Democrats. It's not about taxes. They have no idea what the Boston Tea party was about. They don't know their history at all. It's about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up and is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. There is no way around that."
Really? I don't hate Obama nor am I against him being president because he's black. Those of you who went to any of these protests. Did you see any racism there? Anyone holding a sign or chanting anything? Garofalo has become a pathetic excuse of a human.
Their synapses are misfiring. ... It is a neurological problem we are dealing with
Perhaps she should look at herself when saying that because she's gone off the deep end. And is it any surprise what show she said this on?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
They have just screwed up "The Three Stooges". One of the most intolerant hatemongers in Hollywood as Larry, "Che" Guevara as Moe and Jim Carrey as Curly? I think I'm going to be sick.

"Che" Was Just Misunderstood

Benicio Del Toro walks out of an interview about his movie Che.

What is it with Hollywood's, and Liberals in general, love affair with people like Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and "Che" Guevara? I don't understand it. But, then again, my IQ is over 70. Do they not realize what people like this are responsible for? Or is it that they don't care? Castro and Guevara are terrorists. Plain and simple. And Chavez is a dictator in training. They screamed about Bush taking away our rights then headed down to Venezuela and embraced Chavez. I honestly believe that had Sean Penn or Danny Glover been around in the 30's and 40's they would have went to Germany and befriended Hitler.

Was It Really A Snub?

People are making a big stink about The Dark Knight being snubbed by the Oscars. Well, first, I don't watch the Oscars. A bunch of pampered, self-righteous idiots patting themselves on the back for making long winded pieces of crap. Second, was it really a snub? The Dark Knight sucked. The first one was bad, and this sequel was just as bad. I was fooled with the three horrible Spider-Man movies, and I was fooled by the two Batman movies. I won't be fooled by the next one.

Big Hollywood

Big Hollywood

Go there. You'll love it. That is if you're not a Liberal. One of the coolest things I found out from this site is that actor Gary Graham is a Conservative. Gary Graham was in my favorite show of all time, Star Trek: Enterprise. Awesome. After reading his post, you just have to stand up and yell "HELL YEAH".

Gov. Palin Could Be Gang-Raped

Bush Derangement Syndrome(BDS) hit it's all time high back around the election of '04. And it got pretty bad some of the things that were said about him. But I don't think BDS can't hold a candle to Palin Derangement Syndrome(PDS). Some of the things said about Gov. Palin have been just plain sick. And now we have the latest from "Comedienne" Sandra Bernhard*. Calling her a "whore" and "turncoat bitch" and saying that she should stay out of Manhattan because she could be gang-raped by her, Bernhard's, big black brothers.

On a recent episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher", fellow "Comedienne" Janeane Garofalo said the following about Republicans,
They have become a party of small minded, very petty, mean... unrestrained id. The unrestrained id.
Liberals are the one's who have, in the last ten years or so, become the most hateful, intolerant, bigoted, close minded asshole son's of bitches on the planet. If you don't agree with them you're a racist or a homophobe or a Nazi or a warmonger or the anti-Christ and you should be jailed or worse. Tolerant my fat, hairy ass.

Well, You Told Her

Pam Anderson, who's looked like a crack addicted tranny ever since she left "Home Improvement", has given Gov. Sarah Palin a piece of her mind. Not that she could spare that much.
The reporter asked Pam if she saw a recent Newsweek article, which showed a gigantic bear hide in the office of Palin's house.

"I can't stand her," Pam blurted out. "She can suck it!"
Well, she'd know a thing or two about "sucking it", wouldn't she. This is why celebrities shouldn't try to dabble in politics. They just come off sounding even more stupid than they really are. They're much better when they stick to lines written for them rather than try and think for themselves.

A Blessing From Heaven

Sure, it might kill a few people, cause millions of dollars in damage and cause a few thousand to end up homeless but thank God for Gustav.

And on Olbermann's show no less. What a shocker.

UPDATE
Now we have former DNC chairman Don Fowler & Congressman John Spratt joking about Gustav, and it was caught on video. The audio is a little hard to understand, but you do hear enough to know they're talking about hurricane Gustav.

"I think this demonstrates God's on our side"

UPDATE 2
Don Fowler apologizes for his comment and then blames the person who taped him saying it.
One doesn't anticipate that one's private conversation will be surreptitiously taped by some right-wing nutcase, but that's the nature of what we're dealing with."
