North Korea launched a long-range Taepodong-2 missile and two small Scud-type missiles within a two-hour period, but the long-range missile appears to have failed, a diplomatic source told Reuters on Tuesday. But they have as much right to fire their missiles as Iran does to seek "peaceful" nuclear power. Right? I mean, it's not like Kim Jong Il would ever put one of their nuclear weapons on one of those missiles. That's dumb.

Thank you Bill Clinton and Madaline All-dumb.
Not dumb Chris, suicidal. Something Kim Jong Il is not.
While North Korea is possibly the only nation on the planet that could take America down, it would literally be a suicide strike. And anything less than a suicide strike would incur retaliation that would see their destruction anyway.
So no matter what happens, they'd be screwed.
Jong is lame. I hope he launches a missile at us--a one that works. That'd make for some icing on my 4th of July cake!
You know Za, invading Poland and killing millions of Jews was suicidal, yet Hitler did it. Invading Kuwait was a pretty dumb move, maybe not suicidal, but Saddam did it. Committing mass genocide on Cambodians could have been a suicidal move, yet Pol Pot did it.
Little Kim Jong mentally Ill will get his soon enough.
It reminds me of an Aqua Teen Hunger Force quote:
"Your dongs are small and useless!"
(from the volume 4 DVD)

No, actually, that wasn't suicidal. Poland wasn't a world superpower, nor did they rival the German military in any real manner.

And he had the US thumbs up on that move, which is why he did it.

Right, because he had all the military power and they didn't. I can see how that was obviously suicidal.
Britain taking on Germany is the best example you'll find - and it doesn't work, because Britain was defending.
