He's entitled to his opinion.
Personally I think the attacks didn't just involved the plane crashes - building 7 of the WTC wasn't hit by any debris and still somehow managed to collapse with fires that were barely noticeable. That doesn't mean Bush was behind it, but it means that there are things that have been ignored.
Freedom of speech is something the US was founded on, remember? You've been very good at not considering what other people have to say - but that's exactly why your constitution grants it to you. So that people can voice their opinions without fear.
No one is objecting to this guys opinion. What is so objectionable is his total disconnect with reality as stated by his opinion.
is this guy referring to another one of those riddiculous 9-11 conspiracy theories that have been debunked time and again. popular mechanics did an excellent article a while back that took every one of those theories and proved them false using good old fashioned science, logic, and reason. the great thing about conspiracy theories is how they manage to ignore all the facts.
Actually I've seen a lot of people with engineering degrees debunk the debunking too, so that doesn't really mean much.
For instance, the pancaking theory shouldn't completely hold because the twin towers were set up with a central framework which should have stuck out the top while the floors collapsed. That one's never mentioned in the "debunking".
And building 7 NEVER gets mentioned in the debunking.
Nor the fact that NORAD had been told to stand down for the day - preventing the standard procedure of scrambling jet fighters whenever a jetliner goes off course (and in the year 2000, they performed said procedure 129 times).
And there's the very uncommented on fact that 5 of the 19 supposed hijackers were found to still be alive and well after the attacks.
I mean, I don't doubt that Al-Qaeda was behind it, but it seems significantly larger than a few people through flight school.
