A New Low, Even For Terrorists

al-Qaeda in Iraq are using children to carry out the homicide bombings. You know, I wish I could say I was shocked and surprised, but I'm not.

For me, the new low was when the Australian foreign-minister tried to make it a partisan issue 'We ON THIS SIDE of the house refuse to support this kind of thing..'
... as though it is a major opposition policy to include a child in every new car-bomb...
that kind of thing makes me sick

Oh yes, that's just as bad as, if not worse than, using a child as a decoy then blowing them up.

1) The article never mentioned Al-Qaeda. You've fallen prey to right-wing rhetoric Chris.

2) Yeah, killing people is terrible. But when other people use it as a way of making people who had nothing to do with it look like they support it, that's just as heartless.

I think we all are of the same mind on car-bombs/car-bombers, they are an emblem for everything cold, cruel, and evil about terrorism (particularly when they calculatingly factor-in the ability of a child to get them closer to a target), but what a politician who seeks to benefit from car-bombing?
Aren't they an evil all of their own?
... and aren't they giving terrorists what they want (division/confusion)?
