A recent finding of chicken bones in Chile suggests that Christopher Columbus wasn't the first person to "discover" this land. A land with people already living here. Well, we all know about the Vikings, but seem to ignore that. But, the bones, from a chicken native to Polynesia, date back to sometime between 1304 to 1424 and the only way that the chicken could have made it to this continent was to be brought here by people. So, it seems we have more evidence to stop celebrating this murderous slave trader.
