Media Double Standard

I know, it's a foreign concept but it does exist. We've seen right-wing extremist groups being covered quite a bit lately. And rightly so. These nuts need to be brought to light and stopped. But it got me to wondering, does our illustrious media outlets cover left-wing extremist groups the same way the cover those on the right? How many people have never heard of the terror groups ALF or ELF? I'm guessing most people will think you talking about a fuzzy alien from the 80's or The Lord Of The Rings rather than groups that commit acts of violence and vandalism. When the media do cover such groups, how many times do they label them "patriot groups"? How many times do they try to associate groups like PeTA or the standard Green movement with them the way they're trying to lump the TEA party protesters in with these right-wing groups? Seems out media has been taking some lessons from Saul Alinsky. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Exactly right! Lies and propaganda + journalism these days.

I don't speak for anyone else, but all I'm asking for is some balance in coverage.
