Tow The Line

This old song and dance has gotten tiresome. Stupid people need to be punched, or at least slapped really, really hard.

Does this include Glenn Beck who accused President Obama of being a “racist”…“who has a deep-seeded hatred for white people, or the white culture” and who recently mocked the President’s daughter, Malia, on his radio show?

If it were constant "racist, racist, racist. Nazi, nazi, nazi. Hitler, Hitler, Hitler" then yes.

Glenn Beck has repeatedly compared the President and his administration to Hitler and Nazi Germany:

So does this count?

I don't care about Glenn Beck. He has nothing to do with this post. I'm talking about an elected official, much more important than Beck, claiming that White Supremacist groups are behind the Arizona law. I'm talking about the constant cries of racist hurled at those who support said law, the Tea Party activists or those on the Right in general.

So it only counts when cries of racism are hurled against people you support? It doesn’t matter when Glenn Beck does it? Why?

No, what I'm saying is that I don't care about Beck as it pertains to this post because he has nothing to do with it.

I asked if Glenn Beck was one of the “stupid people” who “need to be punched, or at least slapped really, really hard.” You said that “if it were constant ‘racist,…Nazi…Hitler’ then yes.” I linked to those examples and now you say “I don’t care. He has nothing to do with this post”

If it’s important enough to point out when an elected official wrongly accuses others of being racists it should be important to acknowledge when someone you seem to admire (and someone who has a lot more influence) does so.
