Arrogant Appeaser?

Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history
No where does Bush say Obama's name. In fact, he says "some". Plural. More than one. It's kind of arrogant, Sen. Obama, to think President Bush was talking about you. Despite what you like to think, the world doesn't revolve around you. And what does it say about Obama that when people hear the word "appeasement" they automatically think of Obama? The presidential hopeful responded with the following
"George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists
Which is an outright lie. From a July 2007 CNN/YouTube debate
Question: In the spirit of that type of bold leadership, would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?

Obama: I would
Yes. Talk to them. But not on their terms.

While I don't care which stooge you people elect when you finally get around to holding a real election, I am interested in media and representation.
Two things don't sit well in OP:
Bush may not have used Obama's name, Bush's staff did when they confirmed who the president was talking about when airing 'dirty laundry' across international media (save that nonsense for domestic media).

Surely you are not suggesting that Obama would be 'engaging terrorists' by meeting with the leaders of a few nation states such as Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea?
... because to declare the head of a nation 'a terrorist' would a little more arrogant than to assume the president is talking about you when his staff confirmed that he was
... I can wait until you people get your act together and have this election.
Then again, it will only be followed by 4 years of the same election speculation and character assassination, and obscene amounts of money changing hands - there's so much noise about how great america is, that anyone can grow-up to be president - I knew the world needs america for something - a good laugh - you people crack me up, if only more american comedians were as funny as your politicians/political process.

If blogger allowed us to block people from commenting, I would block you and hate strewn comments. But they can't so I'll just leave them up here for people to laugh at your ignorance.

"If blogger allowed us to block people from commenting, I would block you and hate strewn comments"

I think I've missed something - 'hate strewn comments'? I'm not sure where you get that from - I don't hate anyone.
How many of you reading this can say that?
How many of you are reading this, or have I been censored (it's that merican free-speech that no one else should have?) - I've always found that amusing 'We stand for free speech... and if you don't like it, we'll censor you!'

I'm sorry, I don't feel hate (it's good to be free of hate, Master Yoda is wise - it feels good too), I'm not expressing hate (is it that I can't get on the hate bandwagon that's the problem? I don't hate Islam,I don't hate terrorists and their misguided ideas [I might pity someone so f*ed-up - who could think that blowing yourself and others up is good? How 'lost' is that?] I don't hate america for killing Muslims [I might pity a country with such a need for blood - I can guess what kind of fear, paranoia, and yes, hate, it takes to invade/bomb so many countries - approx. 1 every 3 years since WWII]).
Is it possible that you hate my comments, because I don't always agree with you? Do you write a blog so that people always agree with you, or do you want to debate the topics?
There's a bit of difference between debate and comments being 'hate strewn'.

Above the 'leave a comment' box are the words: "Leave A Comment. But Too Much Liberal Hatred Will Get You Censored."
Are you telling me that you don't have the power to censor...
You did once delete a comment I made when I said 'I'll spell it out simply' and accused me of calling you stupid (I was repeating something, but making it easier to read, as the first time I did a bad job and it made no sense - the second time you ASSumed I was insulting you, and deleted the comment).

'Too much liberal hatred'... are we talking about hatred? Or is it that you're convinced that I'm a liberal because I don't have a problem disagreeing with some classic 'right-wing' views? (I'm sorry to tell you, but I regularly disagree with 'liberals' too).

***However, if you'd rather I didn't comment, you could simply ask, you've never asked me to stop commenting, and it's pretty extreme to say 'I'd ban you'.
Have you ever considered just saying something?
(you do have my email address, if you wanted to mention it quietly, but the only email I've gotten from you related to a competition you were running).
Are you asking that I don't participate in the comments page here at RWRM?
...here I was thinking a bit of lively debate would be welcome - but if offering a different angle on something means being branded 'hateful', then maybe what you need is some obedient 'yes men'...

I'm not unreasonable, you coulda tried asking...

R; you are a hater. Just because you say to yourself "I don't hate anyone" doesn't make it so.
But you would not be the marxist Liberal that you are without a heapin helping of Hatred for everything you are not.
I would love to see that cespool of a country you call home do any better on the world stage concerning an array of subjects and issues. If your ideas and country could do better; it would I'am sure. Just try not to be so depressingly jealous of America's success. After all it is not your fault that by birth you were cursed by God to always be wrong on everything.
Hows that hate thing coming along now?

oh - that's priceless, I can say in all honesty; I've truly missed you John!
Why can't american comedians be that funny

"Hows that hate thing coming along now?"

Well, I'll give you 7 out of 10.
... most of the marks are for being directly personal.
I mean we've talked about hate, but John doesn't waste any time - getting straight into it.
Marks deducted for: the stuff about where I live - I couldn't care what you say about where I live, but you can do so much better than that, start with something real that relates only this place... rather than the general 'cesspool' stuff, and 'jealously' - I means that's almost like the tired 'they hate our freedom' routine that I hear from americans as an explanation for terrorism against america.
... and me, a liberal marxist that hates eveything I'm not?
...not really your best work, but it's the thought that counts - hate is hate!

oh, yeah, the precondition that someone needs to hate everything different to themselves to be a marxist is interesting... I thought to be a marxist you simply had to have a mixed-up pre-occupation with 'means of production'.
