Burning The Qu'ran

So a church in Florida wants to hold a Qu'ran burning. While I think it's down right stupid and don't agree with it, they do have the right. Just like we have the right to burn or destroy the Bible, or any book, CD or what have you, or the flag. Or like those Westboro Baptist asses have the right to protest. I think it's hate speech myself, but they're not breaking any laws. At least I don't think they are. What I would like to see is this much attention and outrage when someone burns the flag. That would be nice.

Helen Thomas & The Joos

I guess I should throw my two cents into the debate. Now, I don't care that she talked about occupation. Blah, blah, blah, song and dance. Whatever. What I did have a problem with was her next comment about Jews going back to Poland and Germany. Yeah, because they had so much luck there the last time. That comment just smacks of "Jews go home". Is she an anti-Semite? I don't know. But according to Bob Beckel, while he doesn't agree with her comment, apparently being of Lebanese decent explains it somehow. I don't think he was trying to justify it, but I'm not sure where he was going with that.

And those calling for her to be fired need to just slow down a bit. In case you forgot, and how could you because you've been active with the Tea Party movement, we have this thing called the First Amendment that gives us the right to say stupid things. Now, if her employer deems her a liability then they have every right to let her go. But to demand that she be fired? No.

This Proves He Is A Muslim

The Obamas didn't go to church on Christmas. Stop the presses. No, actually, who cares? Since when did A)being a Christian and B)going to church become a requirement for being president? We have far more serious issues to concern ourselves with than whether or not our president goes to church. Of course I'm speaking as an Agnostic, so take that for what it's worth. Anyway, Democrats trying to shove as much crap down our throats before the 2010 election is something to concern ourselves with. A radical Islamic terrorist being able to sneak a chemical bomb onto a plane and try to use it to blow up said plane only to have the detonator malfunction. That is something to worry about. I know the majority of my readers lean more towards the Christian belief, and may not agree with me in some of my statements here, but I just don't care whether or not our president and his family attend church on Christmas. I'm sorry.

Happy Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah. And you'd better save some brisket for me.
He spends half his life attending a hate church because it helped him politically, and Democrats don't bat an eye but Obama asks Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration and all of a sudden it's a national scandal.

Pray Or Pay

So this is what it means to be "culturally sensitive". Forced prayer to a God you may not believe in at school. Is this were the world is going? I wonder if this school's ever forced Muslim children to pray to Jesus Christ?

Obama's Hate Church Strikes Again

Yet another "man of God" from Sen. Obama's Trinity United Church has went on a hate rant. Have you seen the video? The people in that church were celebrating and going crazy while this was going on. I didn't really believe that Obama held the views of Rev. Wright when that story broke, but you have to wonder why someone would stay at a place like this for 20 years if they didn't agree in some way. Then you take some of his and his wife's comments and you have wonder even more what his beliefs really are. God help him if a tape ever surfaces that shows him saying things like this. Some want to believe that stories like these aren't important, but they're very important. The people Obama has surrounded himself with go a long way in revealing his true character.

I heard Bob Beckel today on FNC saying that Obama needs to now leave the TUC. Personally, I think it's too little too late. He's spent half his life with this church. Everyone, well everyone not totally hypnotized by him, would recognize that for what it would be. Weather vane politics. Not the "Change" we need in Washington.

Seven New Deadly Sins

The Vatican has released a list of seven new sins for the new globalized world. They include, taking or dealing in drugs, social injustice which caused poverty or "the excessive accumulation of wealth by a few", ruining the environment, carrying out morally debatable scientific experiments, or allowing genetic manipulations which alter DNA or compromise embryos. If I weren't already going to Hell from the original seven, not going Green has now screwed me.

Sharia Law In England

There are reports that indicate that Sharia courts have been in operation in England. I wonder how long it'll be before it starts happening here? If it hasn't already.

I Love America

Aleksandr Sdvizhkov, former deputy editor of the now closed independent weekly Zgoda, a newspaper in Belarus, is on trial. He's charged with incitement to religious hatred because in 2006 he dared to publish the Danish cartoon of Muhammed. If convicted, he's facing 3-10 years.

The War On Christmas

Tis the season again. When the ACLU brings out their lawyers to try and kill the word "Christmas". But a school in Oak Lawn, Ill. has done something that can only be described as intelligent. Instead of taking a holiday away, they added one. Can anyone say "duh"? Now, why can't more schools learn a lesson from the Oak Lawn school district?
We should be able to celebrate our thing, and they should be able to celebrate theirs, too
Why is it that it takes a 10-year-old kid to come up with the right answer?

Ahmadinejad, U.N. & W.W. III

Okay, I watched A-Jad's speech at the U.N. Now, could someone please tell me what the hell he was talking about? He's going on about Iran being a peace loving nation that respects human life and wants to form a "fraternity of peace" or whatever it was. He tried to paint a picture of rainbows and unicorns of compassion and brotherhood and as anyone with an I.Q. above 90 knows, that's a lie. Then he launches into a strange rant about W.W.II and God returning. Was anyone else worried about that. I mean, this man believes the 12th Imam, the Mahdi, is returning soon and that if he can help it along he'll do just that. Armageddon people. Was this some sort of veiled threat?

From Glenn Beck's show yesterday that's very important
But the point is, we must stop pretending that this man`s threats are empty. When I was about 30 years old and I`m trying to figure out life, I picked up and bought a copy of "Mein Kampf" for the first time. I didn`t read it for Hitler`s propaganda. I knew who that guy was. I read it to answer one question that had been bothering me since I was a kid: Did the Germans know what Hitler was planning on doing? The answer, unfortunately, was yes.

And while I know it`s hard to admit, some day the world may very well look back at us with the same question I had when I read "Mein Kampf." Did they know? Then they`ll watch Ahmadinejad`s interviews, they`ll read his speeches, they`ll listen to his threats, and they will wonder why, in the famous words of Edmund Burke, why did good men do nothing?

Put Your Steel Collar On

Here we go again. Swedish cartoonist, Lars Vilks, is under police protection and in hiding for his life because he dared to insult the great, merciful profit Muhammad. After he drew his cartoon and it was published al-Qaeda in Iraq leader, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, offered a bounty of $100,000 for his death. An extra $50,000 should he be "slaughtered like a lamb" and another $50,000 to the person who killed the editor of the newspaper who dared publish the cartoon.
We are calling for the assassination of cartoonist Lars Vilks who dared insult our Prophet ... and we announce a reward during this generous month of Ramadan
Thank Allah we're dealing with rash and sane people.

The Benefits Of Joining Jihad

Join al-Qaeda today, and not only will you meet new and interesting people but you'll pay no taxes, you'll save the environment, except when you nuke the infidels, and pay 0% down on your mortgage. No shit? Praise be to Allah. Jihad, jihad. Death to America, death to.... wait. Do I get a dental plan as well?

Angry Sikhs

Sikhs are angry over the TSA's new hat checking policy claiming that it's racial profiling and against their religion. You know what I say to that? Tough. Your religion doesn't trump our safety. That goes for Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and any of the other religions I can think of right now. You don't like it, you have two options. Either comply and be searched or piss off and don't fly.

Personally, I want everyone at the airport searched. You have no idea who's who. We've already seen that al-Qaeda, and Muslim fundamentalists in general, have no problem to using children to kill. I want kids checked, nuns, old people, the Black man with his family, that White man in the suit, the pregnant woman... everyone. When we let PC bullshit get in our way, people die.

Fred Phelps Is Scary

The "Rev." Fred Phelps and Keith Olbermann must be the very best of friends. Both are close minded, hate monger biggots who hate Bill O'Reilly. In a recent sermon leader of the "God Hates Fags" Westboro Baptist Church called the FNC juggernaut the spawn of the Devi, a spin doctor for his father the Devil, demon-possessed messenger of Satan and a hell-bound blaspheming hypocrite. Read some of the Liberal blogs and you'll find that they agree with Phelps.

Faith In Politics

Can someone explain this to me. It's like it's some sort of contest to see whose holier than thou. We see Republicans trying to out-Conservative each other. "I'm more Conservative than you." "I'm more Reagan-esq than you." And now the Dems are trying to out-God Republicans. "I'm more religious than you" Well, I believe in God more than you do". I mean, when I vote for someone their religious beliefs are the last thing on my mind. Of all the things to judge a candidate on, religion is near the bottom.
