Correta Scott King's Funeral Turns Into Bush Bash

Was anyone else saddened to see yet another funeral turn into a anti-Bush Democratic rally? First it was the funeral for Paul Wellstone and now this. Really show what kind of people Democrats really are. Also show what kind of man Bush is. He knew going into this that people would take shots at him, yet he swallowed his pride and did what was right. He's a better man than I. A women, who along with her husband, preached the message of love and tolerance being "honored" by people who're full of hatred. I'm sure she and her husband would be proud. Sad day.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic that they completely disrespected Mrs. King's funeral by turning it into a personal opinion platform. Really, truly pathetic. Maybe it's a sign that Democrats are getting really desperate. It's almost as heinous as the camel spiders!

It was disgusting Chris.

I like what you do here. Keep it up my friend. (I see you at Greta's site too.)

Gasp... they mentioned that Mr King was subjected to secret government wiretapping - how horrible of them to mention a significant fact of his life... even to the point that the governor of Georgia would not attend his funeral because he said King was "an enemy of the country".
How evil of them to talk about the political views of an overt political activist, and the things that influenced her life.

And how right you all are to want to completely sanitise her funeral from any views she may have held because they might not look good to the current government. Politics has no place at a political activist's funeral! I mean, it's not as if we were celebrating her life, her beliefs and the results of her thoughts, are we?

And didn't love the hypocrisy of it all? They had old 100 proof up there speaking and it was his brother, Bobby Kennedy, that approved those wiretaps. But they didn't want to mention that.

Gasp! The President's brother! He MUST have been in on the wiretapping! Maybe he even SUGGESTED it!

Such an evil person to have at a funeral. The wiretapping is all HIS fault! I mean, it's not as if brothers could disagree on anything, or heck - as if anyone could be sorry for past actions.

That funeral was dishonored by Jimmy Carter and that reverend.

What is worse is that many people on the left have defended that behavior. Sadly, it is another example of the far-left's hatred.

"That reverend" made a single jibe to help highlight Coretta's political viewpoints. So dishonorable to point out the social problems she fought against!

As an African-American I was angered by the actions of the speakers. They disrespected Coretta, Martin, or Presidentand the whole black race. The democrats are weak and especially Hilary Clinton. She made a fool of herself. People want to label the Clintons as being fair to blacks. Where were the african-american decision makers during the Clinton years. Why are there now so many african-americans representing this administration. Trusted african-americans. These supposed black leaders of our community do not speak for me and millions more like me. They want to label blacks who are republicans as house negroes because we don't walk to the polls like zombies and vote for their sorry cronies. I would love to be a house negro especially if it is in the White House.
