Preach It Brothers

Finally the Bush White House swipes back at the Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy, aka Big Media. Rove and Bush don't hold back. I can't wait to see what they're, BM, response will be. And this part about Chief of Staff Andy Card
"White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card was outraged that the TV networks refused to declare Bush the winner on Election Night, even after all the votes were counted in the pivotal state Ohio and it became obvious Kerry could not win.

'Some of the talking heads,' Card said, 'were rooting for a crisis in Ohio. It wasn't just that they were afraid to admit we had won.'

Card became particularly incensed when Bush's Ohio lead reached 120,000 votes, which was mathematically insurmountable.

'Nobody wanted to call it so that we had won,' he said. 'It was like, c'mon, are they just afraid to say it?'"
I still remember that night. Bush was the clear winner and only one news outlet was calling it. Can you guess who? I kept flipping from ABC to CBS to NBC to CNN to MSNBC. And Fox News was the only one calling Bush the winner. The others were too busy crying and bitching. In denial.

lol - Fake News Channel was the only one to declare it, eh?

Must be because all those other news channels just want to destroy the American way of life. And help terrorists. I mean, that's what they really want, isn't it?

I like how you call them Fake News, when you're actually talking about people like O'Reilly and Hannity who don't report the news but rather they talk about it and give their opinions. If you want to talk about the actual news being fake, how is that? The news they report is the same news CNN reports. You bitch and moan about me and CNN and then you do the same about FNC. Double standard?

Second they, BM, don't want to help terrorists. They just can't help doing it. They didn't call the election because they couldn't face the truth.

Dismissal is the immediate response to of someone who refuses to admit the truth.

Za calls it Fake News Channel because he feels that addressing the real issue you posted would leave him questioning why. Why is it that the major media refused to announce the winner? He then would have to admit that it was a suspect move which would elevate Fox News and make him seem to on the side of the right wing.

So, subconsciously it is nearly impossible for the left to address issues that would put them in agreement with the "evil" conservatives.

I think I will write about this phenomenon in my next installment of the Bush-Hating 101 and 201. Thanks for the inspiration Za!

Has Za ever watched Fox news with Sheppard Smith? Probably not.
He confuses Fox News with Fox News Channel Opinion shows.

First of all my Indian friend, there is no way the news is reported in the same way. There is no doubt that CNN is much more liberal and Faux is as conservative as can be. Just look at the new death copter that the pentagon is about to unleash. Faux talked that up last night like it was the best thing since sliced bread. Didn't mention how many of our service men it has put six feet under.

As for the last election... it must be a slow news day! C'mon... old news and old crying. Isn't there anyting positive going on in the Administration for you to talk about? (where is your abortion post?... hehehe).

There are soo many positive things I can hardly keep myself from spewing; but how about this one thing to talk about.
That the Communist/Marxist/Democrats did NOT get elected. To me thats the biggest positive thing about this administration.

This is not a comment for your entry I'm just letting you know that I used a quote from your "Preach it Brothers" entry on my blog. I also used Za's comment to the entry.

Actually, I call it Fake News Channel, because it headed the court case that found it not illegal for a news channel to intentionally lie to the public - as a way of having to avoid paying out to one of its reporters who refused to lie to the public about their findings against a company to tone them down a bit.
