George W. Nixon

Remember this post I made last week. Well, here's a perfect example of it. The NY Times has already convicted the Bush Administration of spying on Grandma Hazel so it must be true.

Um... I'm not even sure what you're rambling about.

No seriously. Please explain it - I honestly could not understand what you were trying to say.

It's pretty self explanatory. My original post was about how the Left can't let go of Nixon, and the NY Times article was about the comparisons with Nixon. 1+1=2.

Alrighty... that still doesn't quite explain:
The NY Times has already convicted the Bush Administration of spying on Grandma Hazel so it must be true.
Are you saying Bush didn't wiretap... someone? Or what?

It's this little thing called satire. 90% of this blog is satire, yet you never seem to get it.

"Grandma Hazel" seems to be a cultural reference that makes no sense to me.

Because the media wants us to believe that Bush has ordered the spying of anyone rather than known terrorists calling into the United States. Hence, Grandma Hazel. A generic character that I made up to convey that point

Ahhh... righto. But the evidence points to the majority of the wiretapped as being ordinary citizens (see comments in above posts). It wasn't "the media" who made up the figures.
