Deo has a great post up on Iran and the U.N. You really should read it.

The UN passed resolution after resolution and imposed sanctions on Saddam Hussein. Hussein violated the resolutions and the UN still wanted to give him another chance at being "good."

This is why I refer to them as Useless.
