Too little? What do you want him to do? Drop a nuke on their headquarters? Arrest them for having a different opinion?
And I'm sorry, but is it hypocritical to actually back up what you say with action? Yes, it was hypocritical of him to make the accusations given his membership, but from your post it's apparently also hypocritical of him to ditch that group - so perhaps you two should invest in a dictionary.
