I was going to write up a post about Al Gore's selective memory, but it seems that Crazy Politico's already done it.

Got a question for you Chris (which I probably shoulda asked back when you did the audiopost about hating liberals).
Which do you hate more - classical liberals or neoliberals?
That's a good question, for once. I would have to say the neo-Libs. With your classic Liberals, JFK and to an extent FDR, you had someone who understood what it took to at least try to defend the country. With your neo-Libs, Al Gore, Howard Dean and Teddy Kennedy, you get spineless cowards who're more concerned with spreading their message of hate than protecting the American people.
The problem with the neo-libs is they aren't pushing an actual agenda, just hate for the last few years.
If they had actual plans, or ideas to debate they'd be tolerable.
You do know that "classical" and "neo" don't apply to time periods, but rather political philosophy?
Classical liberalism was originally a reaction to such ideas as the divine right of kings, hereditary status, and established religion. It emphasises freedom of thought for individuals, limitations on the power of government and religion, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a free market economy that supports private enterprise, and a system of government that is transparent.
Neoliberalism is more right-wing, that de-emphasizes or rejects government intervention in the domestic economy. It focuses on free-market methods, fewer restrictions on business operations, and property rights.
What you're doing is judging liberalism my defense and international policy, which actually has nothing to do with the philosophy.
There was a farmer who had a dog, and BINGO was his name-o.
Hatred and intolerance are the positions of the hardcore Left of today.
Chris, the sad thing about that is it used to be what they fought.
lol - now I'm amused. Censorship of ideas Chris?
Can't handle your own hypocrisy when confronted with it?
lol - so you show that one, you don't show the post I made before it.
My discretion.
"Discretion", by which you mean "I don't like being called intellectually dishonest especially when the individual can back that accusation up".
Intellectual dishonesty to compound the original intellectual dishonesty.
