Frenchmen With Balls

France's Constitutional Council upholds firing law. Get ready for a massive riot in France. These French love their Socialist "you can't fire me" lifestyle and to suggest anything different just rocks their world. Will Chiac grow a set and sign this or continue to let France slide down the evolutionary scale? I'm putting my money on the second one.

Please tell me how being able to keep your job is socialist? I was pretty certain that working for your living was a capitalist thing.

Then again - I guess in the US, high unemployment is a capitalist thing as well, eh?

I'm going to break my rule for this one and the other just to set you straight.

It's not Socilalist to keep your job, but to not get fire for screwing up is. That's what the frog youth in France want.

And actually, the US unemployment rate is 4.8% compared to France's 10% and Germany's 11%. So maybe the United States isn't doing so bad.

Here's the links to show you I'm not talking out of my ass.

Riots are nothing new in France in 1789, when a Parisian crowd was demonstrating furiously in front of his palace, King Louis XVI asked, “Is it a riot?” and was answered, “No Sir, it is a revolution.’’

Actually, neither is socialist - socialism doesn't have employers.
