The NY Times Strikes Out Again

First it was the Abu Ghraib screw up, now this. On March 8th the Times profiled a woman who claimed to be a victim of hurricane Katrina. She was "mad" at the federal government for not helping her and the Times didn't bother to check the story before publishing it. As it turns out, she wasn't a victim of the hurricane. She was a scam artist who was arrested for fraud and grand larceny. Oops. They saw a way to attack the Bush run government and ran with it. Are you surprised? Is it any wonder their readership is falling? They're a joke paper anymore. They care more about attacking Republican than getting stories right.

They're a joke paper anymore.

Just like you care more about attacking it than sentence structure. :P

Hey, did Fox News ever do anything about those fake stories they ran
on John Kerry during the election?

Just curious.

Uh, Jake, maybe you should read the article again. "post a retraction and apology". It's right there in black and white.

What FAKE stories about Kerry?
I'am sure they were fake according to your moonbat websites you leftists like visiting.

John, perhaps you should have read the link.

What I really like (and Chris will probably avoid writing about) is that the NY Times just sent out its headline email today - which MOCKED the Democrats:

If the Democrats have their way, the 2006 Congressional elections will be the revenge of the "mommy party."

I did not see any link that mention WHAT stories on FOX were FAKE!

Then you are blind. The about.com link specifically explained what the story was - that Kerry used his manicure as an election debate platform.
