Big Brother Is Watching

Eco-fascism at it's best.
By issuing these tickets, it's helping us change the attitude or perception on how things should be set out
If people won't do it of their own free will, then we'll force them into it.

City government is starting do to things like that here as well. Trash will only be picked up once a week and they're "advising" us to not rake up grass clippings or water our lawns. They haven't forced us to recycle, yet.

Watch This Hand And Ignore The Other

Ignore the immigration red herring and stay focused on cap and trade. Then question and demand answers on how Goldman Sachs and Fannie Mae are involved.

Childless And Happy

GirlI am so glad I don't have kids. There is so much propaganda and indoctrination in schools and television shows today. The an't even watch cartoons without being force fed a load of green garbage. I remember when the green on Nickelodeon came from the slime on shows like "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Double Dare". Now kids are being told that they know more than their parents and that they should educate them on issues. Giving them condoms and telling girls how to have an abortion without their parents knowing. "The Story Of Stuff". "An Inconvenient Truth". I think not.

CFL Bulbs Are A Trap

So, you're walking through Wal-Mart, or some other store because Wal-Mart is an evil corporation that exploits it's workers by not giving them health care, and you see a 3-pack of CFL bulbs for around $15. You think, "Wow, that's expensive." But then you see the benefits on the package. They're good for the environment. Well, no one want's be be compared to a Holocaust denier. Then you see they last between 5-7 years. You won't have to buy more for a LONG time. Then you read that they lower your energy bill. Hey, who can't afford to save some money? Right? So you grab them feeling pretty good about yourself. In fact, you get quite a few to fill up our entire house. Think of the savings. You exchange all your old non-green filament bulbs and the new CFL bulbs are better. Much brighter and things look clearer. Awesome. Cut to 2, not 5 or 7, years later and you've already had two bulbs go out. You have to travel almost 30 miles to Home Depot because it's the only place near you that you can take those green CFL bulbs to be recycled because you can't just throw them away for the chemicals in them. You also haven't seen even a penny in savings on your energy bill. And you're wondering where the benefits are. But of course you'll go buy another one for $7 because, like I said, they do make everything brighter and clearer and you've come to like that.

Cap & Tax Passes

Obama's Green Tax plan has passed the House by a vote of 219-212, with 8 Republican turncoats, Bono-Mack-CA, Castle-DE, Kirk-IL, Lance-NJ, LoBiondo-NJ, McHugh-NY, Reichert-WA, and Smith-NJ voting to screw us over and 1 No Vote. That's 8 Republicans who won't have a job come next year, I guarantee that. 8 because John Sullivan, R-OK, may have a good excuse for not voting. He's in rehab right now. And I have to believe that he would have voted NO had he been there. Many Americans are just getting by, myself included, or are struggling to do so, and this is just another death nail in our coffins. I'm going to have to start making cuts somewhere I'm afraid and I'm not sure where they're going to be. We've lost control of this country to the government. Little by little it's slipping in an abyss which is looking like there's no bottom to. And, once again, they voted on this bill without reading it.

Green Is A Lie

I know that in today's world it's blasphemy to not go green. It's as close to a crime as you can get without it actually being a crime. Now, what do I mean by it's a lie? Am I saying just throw your garbage out the window while driving down the highway? Am I saying dump your used motor oil down the storm drain? Am I saying toss your old computer parts and batteries in the trash when they stop working? No. When I say "Green Is A Lie" I mean that, while we may have the best intentions for the planet at heart when we do the things we're told is good for the environment, we're still polluting. Let's break down a few examples.

Windmills
Wind. How can you get more environmentally friendly than harnessing the power of wind. You build the windmill, the wind that blows naturally makes it spin, which creates power that is harnessed for your use. Where can the bad possibly be? Well, first you have make the windmill. I'm not an expert on any of these sources of energy, but I'm guessing they're made in a factory of some sorts. A factory that, I'm guessing, puts massive amounts of pollutants into the air. Then we have the shipping of the parts of the windmills to where ever they're to be erected. How many trucks does that take? Never seen one on the move so I don't know. Then we have the maintenance of the windmills. Again, not an expert but they need to be lubricated. Probably with some sort of petroleum based grease.

Solar Panels
The power of the Sun. Perhaps the most abundant energy source we have. Put these on your roof and collect the power of a star. Where can the bad possibly be? As with the windmills, you have the construction of the panels, probably in a factory somewhere and you then have the shipping. Not sure about the maintenance of solar panels. Maybe a good washing every so often, I don't know. But with solar panels we have a chemical called Polysilicon. I don't actually know anything about it. I did a few searches, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I was using the wrong keywords. Can it be harmful? It may be perfectly safe, I'm not sure. But there's the other things to consider.

Hybrid/Electric Cars
Little or no gasoline. Now, that is actually a good thing. On many levels. You save the environment, you save money not having to fill up every few days and your don't support terrorist nations. I'm all for those. Where can the bad possibly be? Just like windmills and solar panels, you have the building and shipping of the parts and the finished products. And those cars still use batteries. Those batteries still use chemicals like lead-acid, NiCd, NiMH, Li-ion amongst others. Some, if not all, have to be mined. No mining operation is perfect. There's going to be some polluting. From what I understand, they are working on better batteries, if they don't already have them, but not all green cars have them yet. In the case of hybrids, there's still gasoline being sued. Then you have to charge the car. Where do you think that electricity comes from to charge your car? Most likely from a plant that's polluting.

Recycling
The granddaddy of all that is green. You take something that, if tossed into a landfill, is harmful to the environment and someone else makes it into something else. That can of pop your drinking could have some of the aluminum from a can you had last year. Where can the bad possibly be? When they recycle items, how do they do it? Again, not an expert, and I've never seen it being done, but I'm guessing they use some sort of massive machine(s). Machines that might use oil or something and needs maintenance. More of that grease. If not oil, then electricity that, like for charging your electric cars, comes from a power plant.

Now, again, I am not an expert. I could be wrong on some of this stuff or I could be wrong on most of it. And if I am, let me know. But I'm not wrong on all of it. These technologies aren't perfect. Everything we're told to do to help the environment, everything that gives us that sense of pride and accomplishment that we're changing the world, actually hurts it in someway somewhere. And I'm not saying don't do some of these things. Because in the long run they are better. Recycle, yes. I've started recycling old batteries and oil from my mower. Don't have a recycling center here so things like paper and plastic I'm not able to. Buy a hybrid. If for nothing else than to save money on gas. $3/gallon is insane. Get off oil. We need to get off oil. Too much power to nations that do bad things. But, at the same time, don't get lolled into the hype and think that by doing these things your "carbon footprint" will be 0.

Our Government Hard At Work

Florida Democrat want's to force private companies to give paid vacations to it's employees.

Republicans drop measure to rename Democratic party.

And people wonder why we protest these morons. By the by, there is another round of protests scheduled for July 4. Can't wait to see how the MSM makes fun of them this time.
Ladies and Gentlemen, our United States government hard a work acting like 5th graders. "We'll show them. We'll get a speed reader because we're just too damned lazy to read this bill ourselves." See, this is the type of crap that has caused many Americans to protest these jackasses. Don't these people work for us? Can't we just go in and fire everyone of them? What happened to the change in Washington Obama promised us?

Let Kids Just Be Kids

1 out of 3 children between 6-11 fear an Earth apocalypse is coming because of global warming. They're inundated with propaganda 24/7, is it any wonder they're scared? Honestly, can an epidemic of pediatric ulcers be far behind? Just let them be kids for the love of God. They're going to have enough to worry about when they're older. Like paying for Obama's economic plan. Now that's something to worry about.

5 Years? I Think Not

A couple of years ago I replaced all my light bulbs with those CFL jobs. Not because they're eco friendly, but because they're supposed to save you money on your energy bill and last five years. Well, I've yet to see any savings and I just had one go out on me after only two years. Which, no matter how you look at it, is awesome. I haven't had to buy light bulbs for two years, but if they say five it should last five.

Former Astronaut Not Duped By Global Warming Scare Tactics

Harrison Schmitt has just become my favorite former astronaut.
Schmitt contends that scientists "are being intimidated" if they disagree with the idea that burning fossil fuels has increased carbon dioxide levels, temperatures and sea levels.

"They’ve seen too many of their colleagues lose grant funding when they haven’t gone along with the so-called political consensus that we’re in a human-caused global warming," Schmitt said.
It's Fascism. "Agree with us or pay the price."

2 Kids Per Household

That's the recommendation from the chairman of the UK's Sustainable Development Commission, Jonathon Porritt.
curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming.
So this git is advocating that abortion become law? I thought the UK was looking more like the Middle East, not China. I can't help but wonder how far we are from something like this. With all the Global Warming zealots out there, there's bound to be one who'll make something like this happen somewhere.

Oh, The Irony

If no action is taken to curb global warming temperatures are likely to rise by 5.5ºC and could rise as much as 7ºC above pre-industrial levels by 2100. Early and rapid reductions in CO2 emissions are required to avoid significant impacts of climate change.

The new supercomputer, which will become operational later this year, will emit 14,400 tonnes of CO2 a year,” said Dave Britton, the Met Office’s chief press officer. This is equivalent to the CO2 emitted by 2,400 homes – generating an average of six tonnes each a year.
I love the green movement. I do. Because it's the ones who scream the loudest who usually are doing the most damage.
