Wait, you mean people and news organizations jump to conclusions and condemn Israel before they have all the facts? Bull. You know, they scream for Israel's head within a heartbeat of whatever it was that actually happened, and yet, when a Palestinian walks into a crowded shopping center or a bus full of innocent Men, Women and Children with a bomb strapped to their chest that same outrage and anger is nowhere to be found. Where are the protests in front of the Palestinian embassy in England? Is there an embassy? I actually don't know. Where are the demonstrations and riots in Greece and France? Where is the U.N calling for inquiries?
Okay, I watched A-Jad's speech at the U.N. Now, could someone please tell me what the hell he was talking about? He's going on about Iran being a peace loving nation that respects human life and wants to form a "fraternity of peace" or whatever it was. He tried to paint a picture of rainbows and unicorns of compassion and brotherhood and as anyone with an I.Q. above 90 knows, that's a lie. Then he launches into a strange rant about W.W.II and God returning. Was anyone else worried about that. I mean, this man believes the 12th Imam, the Mahdi, is returning soon and that if he can help it along he'll do just that. Armageddon people. Was this some sort of veiled threat?
From Glenn Beck's show yesterday that's very important

But the point is, we must stop pretending that this man`s threats are empty. When I was about 30 years old and I`m trying to figure out life, I picked up and bought a copy of "Mein Kampf" for the first time. I didn`t read it for Hitler`s propaganda. I knew who that guy was. I read it to answer one question that had been bothering me since I was a kid: Did the Germans know what Hitler was planning on doing? The answer, unfortunately, was yes.
And while I know it`s hard to admit, some day the world may very well look back at us with the same question I had when I read "Mein Kampf." Did they know? Then they`ll watch Ahmadinejad`s interviews, they`ll read his speeches, they`ll listen to his threats, and they will wonder why, in the famous words of Edmund Burke, why did good men do nothing?
Keep and eye out to see if Amnesty International or the U.N. say anything about this. They may condemn it, but being that it was Israeli's that were trying to help the refugees they probably won't.

The United Nations has said that it can no longer afford to feed the 90 million people in Africa it's World Food Program has been helping for the past five years.
Story
Josette Sheeran, WFP executive director, said in an interview with the Financial Times: "In a world where our contributions are holding fairly steady, this [cost increase] means we are able to reach far less people."Perhaps it's not only about contributions holding steady. Maybe something should be done about the corrupt governments of these countries who are keeping the people in such conditions.

We hear day in and day out about President Bush's failed Iraq policy. It was wrong, it was carried out wrong, we should get out now. Funny thing is, the people who keep going with this rhetoric are the same one's who continue to turn a blind eye to the U.N.'s failed Darfur policy.
Now in its fourth year, the conflict has become the world's worst humanitarian crisis, and rape is its regular byproduct, U.N. and other human rights activists say.Four years? Around about the same time we went into Iraq. Huh.
We've seen what happened when Iraq gave the IAEA inspectors the runaround and now Iran is doing it. But I'm sure they still only want nuclear power for peaceful purposes.

Denying historical facts especially on such an important subject as the Holocaust is just not acceptable.Let's hope this isn't a one off show of a spine.
Nor is it acceptable to call for the elimination of states or people

Yid With Lid has a great post up about the U.N. "Human Rights" Council's refusal to condemn the Sudanese government over their continued genocide against the people of Darfur in their latest, in a long line of, toothless resolution. I hear and see people, namely rich, white American celebrities, criticize the Bush administration and the U.S. government time and and time again for not doing enough to help, and all rightly so may I say, but little if anything is said about the U.N.'s handling of the situation. Or lack there of. Isn't this their job?

Just when you think the Useless Nations couldn't surprise you any more, they go and want the world to send $450 million to Hamas led Palestine.
They voted the terrorist organization into power, and now they're paying for it and the U.N. wants the world to bail their asses out. Two words for you. Fuck That. Maybe the U.N. could take some of that Blood For Oil money they stole and use it to help.

For the life of me I can't understand why the precious U.N. won't get off their corrupt, bribe taking asses and do something about this madman. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that had this United Nations been around in the 30's and 40's they would have just sat and watched Hitler while issuing toothless warning after toothless warning.
"Anywhere where you have real combat, anywhere where you have real enemies, anywhere where you have a crazy outfit like Hezbollah, which is really a proxy for Iran that we're talking about, then the U.N. is fairly useless. It doesn't really get the job done, and that billboard was a perfect example."

If you didn't see Glenn Beck's interview with the former Israeli Prime Minister, you can read the transcript or head over to YouTube and watch it. It's broken up into separate parts.

Survey: Is anyone actually surprised? They're making shitloads of money from Iran, they're not going to go against their cash cows. The same way France and the U.N. turned blind eyes to Iraq and Saddam. Question. Why are Russia and China on the Security Council. They way they don't care about countries who threaten the security of the world makes me wonder.

Come January, Kofi Annan is out, hallelujah, and a man named Ban Ki-moon will take over. Maybe he won't turn a blind eye to places like Rwanda and Darfur. Maybe Ban Ki-moon won't allow places like Iraq do what they please while taking bribes to look the other way. Maybe Ban Ki-moon will put a stop to U.N. "peacekeepers" raping women and their children. Maybe Ban Ki-moon will make the United Nations relevant once more. Maybe, but I won't be holding my breath.
Mexico is takig their fight to the United Nations. Two things that get me about this.
1) That anyone in Mexico thinks the U.N. has a say in this
2) The Mexican foreign secretary actually talked about this with the French Foreign Minister as if he had a say in this.

Step 1: Test a nuclear weapon
This is the first step to a new generation of warfare. North Korea has tested a nuke and now the U.S. will have to raise their alert level. It's a bad situation all around. But maybe now the U.N. Security Council will get off their apathetic asses and do something. But you know there will be those that blame Bush for this.
"He didn't do enough to stop this."
"He should have agreed to one on one talks with North Korea."
So, I ask why? Why is it always America's job to handle situations like this? Isn't that what the United Nations is for? Why is it always the U.S. that gets the blame when something along the lines of this happens? It's happening with Darfur and, I may be jumping the gun only to find out that I'm totally wrong, but it'll probably happen now. With the election less than a month away it only seem natural that politicians will jump on this to help their campaign. Whether you want to pass blame around or not, this is a bad situation we're in.

Okay, I know I said one week, which would mean I should be back tomorrow, but I had to jump on this story. Does anyone really think Iran is serious. Except Za that is. I mean, he still believes they want nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and not a nuclear weapon. I mean, why would Ahmadinejad risk the response attack on Iran should he detonate a nuke over Israel? Other than the fact that this camel fucker believes that the end times are coming and that it's his job to help the world bow to Islam. Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.
This is simple, really. Well, as simple as a situation like this can be. But it all hangs on whether the U.N., and Kofi Annan, has balls or not. The ultimatum: Iran stops the enrichment of uranium or the U.N. will shut the country down. Absolutely no exporting or importing of any good or services. That means no more selling of oil to help raise money for Hezbollah. France, Germany and Russia will be pissed, but fuck them. But like I said, this all depends on the size of Kofi's sack. Which, in the past, has been pretty small.

At least according to the E.U. and United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Mark Malloch Brown. This is also the guy who said that us here in the heartland are too stupid to see the real the U.N. because of FNC. And I wonder if the E.U. had been around in the late 30's, would they have labeled the Nazis a terrorist group?

The email from Major Paeta Hess-von Kruedener warned that the post had come under "unintentional" artillery fire and aerial bombing several times in the previous weeks, and that several Hezbollah positions were in the area of the patrol base.I know you, like Kofi Annan, were hoping the evil Israeli Empire had targeted the U.N., but it seems that may not have been the case after all.
