Welcome To The New America

Government agents can sneak onto your property in the middle of the night, put a GPS device on the bottom of your car and keep track of everywhere you go. This doesn't violate your Fourth Amendment rights, because you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in your own driveway — and no reasonable expectation that the government isn't tracking your movements.

I can't be the only one this ruling scares the hell out of.

On This Day In History

Tomorrow could witness one of the biggest moments in American history. I say could because it's not 100% positive the vote will take place on Sunday. It most likely will, but it could be delayed. Our government has made it Us (the American people) vs. Them. They won't listen to us. We talk, we ask, we yell, we scream, we cry, we beg, we plead and they continue to turn a deaf ear to us. This bill will pass. Please, have no illusions to the contrary. Universal Hell Care will pass. Progressives will lie, cheat, intimidate, threaten and bribe to make damn sure it does. I truly weep for where this country has fallen.

Free Money? Give Me Some

A woman being driven around in a rented limousine pulled up at a coat store and announced she'd won the lottery and would pay for everyone's purchases, police said, but she ended up causing a riot when customers realized it was a hoax.

What the hell is wrong with people? Are we so greedy and stupid that the second we hear that "free" money is available we turn into slobbering animals? I'd like to think that most of us, if something like this were to happen, would stop and think about it before we go crazy.
That's when angry customers, realizing they weren't getting free coats, began throwing merchandise on the floor and grabbing clothes without paying for them, Nace said.

"Everybody was like, 'I still want my free stuff,' and that started the riot," he said. "It looks like (Hurricane) Katrina went through the store."
Pisses me off.

CARS.gov Update

The government has removed the notice from the website. It doesn't necessarily mean they've stopped hijacking private computers, it just means that dealers won't see the warning any more. This all started because one concerned citizen contacted Beck and that set off the firestorm. No longer are we going to just sit back and let the government screw us over as they've been doing for years.

This application provides access to the DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal computer system and is the property of the U.S. Government.
Really? Because my computer, all the data and files on it, are NOT property of the U.S. Government. But I'm sure this just much ado about nothing. Making mountains out of molehills and whatever other cliche we can think of. Let's all go back to denying what the government is doing. It's much simpler that way.

I hardly recognize this country anymore. We have an economy that's in the tank, we have healthscare, cap and tax, smart grid, government motors, we have a secretary of the treasury that doesn't pay his taxes, a Congress that can't be bothered to read a massive bill before they pass it, we have Obama lackeys, aka czars, who believe in eugenics, forced abortions, population control, human rights for animals, FDR's Second Bill of Rights and the "fairness" doctrine for the internet, we have a government with more power than it's had since maybe FDR and a thousand other things we should be worried about. So a Surgeon General that's overweight is at the bottom of that barrel.

That's One Small Step For Man....

We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon -- We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we're willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win, and the others, too.

40 years ago, man accomplished one of his most amazing achievements. He launched three human beings into space, landed them on another celestial body, had them walk on it and then he brought them back to Earth. In the list of human accomplishments, the moon landing has to be in the top five. It shows just what we can do when we set our minds to it. And in the 40 years since, how far we have fallen. We went from doing things because they were hard to prove that nothing is impossible to demanding the easy way out. Demanding bailout and government takeovers. And goals? We've set them so low so as to make sure they're easy to obtain. Blood, sweat and tears? No, no, no. Grab a video camera and post some ignorant thing you did online to become an instant "celebrity". Cat playing keyboard. Fat guy lip syncing with headphones. Chocolate rain. That's the goal we set for ourselves today.

Cap & Tax Passes

Obama's Green Tax plan has passed the House by a vote of 219-212, with 8 Republican turncoats, Bono-Mack-CA, Castle-DE, Kirk-IL, Lance-NJ, LoBiondo-NJ, McHugh-NY, Reichert-WA, and Smith-NJ voting to screw us over and 1 No Vote. That's 8 Republicans who won't have a job come next year, I guarantee that. 8 because John Sullivan, R-OK, may have a good excuse for not voting. He's in rehab right now. And I have to believe that he would have voted NO had he been there. Many Americans are just getting by, myself included, or are struggling to do so, and this is just another death nail in our coffins. I'm going to have to start making cuts somewhere I'm afraid and I'm not sure where they're going to be. We've lost control of this country to the government. Little by little it's slipping in an abyss which is looking like there's no bottom to. And, once again, they voted on this bill without reading it.

Letter To Government

Read this. This is why the Tea Party protests were started. Because average Americans are pissed off at the games our government is playing. Speed readers, cramming bills down our throats without even knowing what's in them, firing Inspector Generals because they're going after your friends, late night votes for ACORN funding in which all members can't get there to vote on, ACORN taking over the 2010 census, universal health care that we can't afford, government taking over businesses, more power for the federal reserve, shutting Republicans out of meetings, and on and on and on. When Obama won in November, I did this post. It was called "a bit much". Looking back today, no, I don't think it was a bit much. We were promised change. We tried to warn people that he didn't know what the hell he was doing, but they didn't listen. And look what it's gotten us. In five shorts months Barack Obama has done more damage than Bush did in eight years. If I weren't sick right now with a sore throat, I'd be screaming it's so infuriating. I hope to God that people wake up next year and gets rid of these people. They have royally fucked us.

GM Files For Bankruptcy.
Under the plan, the government would own 60% of the new GM, but Mr. Obama said auto executives "will call the shots and make the decisions about turning this company around." He said the government would refrain from playing a management role in all but the most critical areas1. "Our goal is to help GM get back on its feet...and get out quickly2," he said.
1) No, don't elaborate on that or anything. Critical areas could mean anything, and sadly, everything.
2) Is anyone dumb enough to actually believe that?

Opposing Sonia Sotomayor

This post contains some language some may be uncomfortable with.

Ever since President Obama nominated Sonia Sotomayor to replace Justice David Souter on the Supreme Court I've heard and read a few pieces talking about how it's a "delicate matter for the GOP". That we need to tread lightly so as not to further alienate Hispanic voters. Bullshit. Oppose this woman at every turn. A judge does not make policy and can not make ruling with their emotions. They're job is to uphold the Constitution.
I, [NAME], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as [TITLE] under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God."
So why the hell should we forgo our beliefs just to please anyone? Any Congressman who goes weak kneed and follows the crowd because they're scared of how it will look to opposed a "Latina with a compelling life story" should pack their shit up and leave office because I don't want them there. So far only one Congressman, and I can't remember what state he's from or his name, has had the balls to stand up and state that he will not support her. I applaud this man. I only wish I could remember his name. I'm getting sick and tired of this fucking bullshit racist game that keeps getting played. We didn't support Obama because he's black, the tea parties were Klan rallies and now if Republican Congressmen don't bow down and support Sonia Sotomayor's nomination it could be seen as racist. Never mind that Democrats opposed Clarence Thomas, Alberto Gonzalez & Miguel Estrada. Bill O'Reilly said, on his show on Wednesday, that "perception outweighs truth" or something like that. And sadly it's true. The popular perception of the Republican party has been that it's a rich White man's party that doesn't support minorities. And we're just sitting back letting that falsehood persist. So we're to be good little Republicans and fall in line because we want minorities to vote for us. This is why the GOP are in such trouble. Not because the party's moved too far to the right. Because it's full of pseudo-Liberal pussies who refuse to take a stand for what they believe in and have completely abandoned their Conservative values of small government and low taxes for bailouts, HUGE government and a debt we're never going to be able to pay off. And I include George W. Bush in that. And we're going to continue to fall until we wipe that god damned yellow streak off our backs and get back to our principals. I am a Conservative. And I am extremely proud of that. But I am a Republican in name only, because like many others I've moved more Libertarian. The party didn't abandon people like Colin Powell and Arlen Spector. It abandoned people like me. People who believe that the Constitution is more than an antiquated piece of paper. That it actually means something. People who believe that government should not, and can't, stick it's fat nose into private companies and take them over. People who believe that we're not entailed to everything. I've seen where our government is taking this country and it pisses me off. This is not the country that was found over 200 years ago. This is a sad, bastardized version that is rotting from the inside out. And I, for one, am feed up with it and I hope that everyone of these cowards who refuse stand up to King Obama and his cronies lose their job in 2010, or whenever they're up for reelection. Because they don't represent me.
Is the Obama regime targeting Republican own Chrysler dealerships for termination while leaving DNC donates alone? It's looking like that could be the case. But this administration wouldn't do something like that. Using their power for paybacks and favors. I mean, look at Sonia Sotomayor for instance. Obama didn't nominate her because Hispanics went 63% for him in the election. He nominated her because....uh....she has a compelling life story and....um....oh yea, she saved baseball that one time.
