Marvel are putting Obama in an upcoming issue of Spider-Man. They say it's not because they're in the tank for him but because he, Obama, has stated that he's a Spider-Man fan. In the plot of the comic, a character named Chameleon tries to assassinate Obama before he can be sworn into office. Just three things.
1. Why are they doing this? The Obamassiah can't be killed.
2. I wonder if Chameleon will be wearing either a GOP or McCain/Palin button?
3. Could you imagine if Bush had said that he liked comic books? People would have a field day with it.
Big Hollywood
Go there. You'll love it. That is if you're not a Liberal. One of the coolest things I found out from this site is that actor Gary Graham is a Conservative. Gary Graham was in my favorite show of all time, Star Trek: Enterprise. Awesome. After reading his post, you just have to stand up and yell "HELL YEAH".

Some of you may have noticed that there have been a lack of posts recently. A few here and there, but mostly just Wednesday Hero. That's because I really can't post anything. If you'll remember a few months ago I complained about having trouble with my connection. Well, four months later and the problem still persists. I've done everything I can think of and nothing. Anyway, one of the biggest problems that has surfaced is the loading of news sites. They just won't. For instance, there's a story on the Chicago Sun-Times site I wanted to link to, but after five minutes of waiting the site still won't load. And downloading updates for things such as Windows, Firefox and my anti-virus? Forget it. That's just not happening. Hand to God, I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to this damn machine and be done with it.
Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) Airman Melissa Pyle mans a jet blast deflector station on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in the Gulf Of Oman. Theodore Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8 are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.
We Have Every Right To Dream Heroic Dreams. Those Who Say That We're In A Time When There Are No Heroes, They Just Don't Know Where To Look

Garbage Dump Searched for Baby's Remains
A woman in New Jersey was rushed to the hospital when she went into labor. She ended up giving birth to a baby boy who later died. The hospital took the body to the morgue, but somehow he ended up being thrown out with the trash.
What? I mean, honestly, how the hell does something like this happen? It's a baby, not a pop can or piece of paper.

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? Sadly, no. No I'm not
Have you ever been so angry that you just started laughing and couldn't help it?
I could murder a can of Root Beer right now
I'm gonna be leavin' at the break of dawn
wish you could come but I don't need no woman taggin' along
While he may be a psycho nut living in his own messed up world, Michael Jackson did make some great music in the 80's. That can't be denied
Speaking of which, when did the 1980's become part of History class in school? I'm getting old

Why do I hate the idea of protest songs so much?
You believe at heart everyone's a killer
Who You Gonna Call?
Edy's Fruit Bars are GOOD. Grape or even Strawberry, but stay away from Lime
Let "Big Brother" watch, so long as he doesn't interfere
I hate it when they don't put blooper reels on DVDs. It's kinda cheap
I wish Yahoo Mail would add more color options and that Gmail would add any

Chained forever to a world that's departed
How did the term "Google" become a verb?
Why does my local radio station play so much Elton John?
There's nothing sadder than an old hippy that can't let go. The 60's are over. Live in the now and let the past stay there
Another local station plays 80's music on Saturday nights. Back from when MTV was good. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. It's, like, so Totally Rad

I don't do complements very well. I always feel uncomfortable when I receive one
It's Pink Floyd, it doesn't have to make sense
I wonder how many of these people who wear a Ramones shirt have never actually heard a Ramones song

I guess this is where I'm supposed to wish everyone a Happy 2009 and talk about how great it is to have horrible 2008 behind us. At least that's the impression I get from reading the newspaper. But, to be perfectly honest, I've had worse years. Judged with those past years, 2008 wasn't so bad. Now I'm supposed to close this post with something like "We now look ahead to a new era and a time of change for the country. Bright sunny days are ahead."
