Steve Irwin Dies

I just heard on the radio, which lead me to this, that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, died today. What the radio said was that he was stung in the chest by a stingray.

EDIT
Here's an updated article.

Weak As Water

Once again, Europe shows that when it comes to facing a challenge head on they turn tail and run. They showed it with Germany in the 30's, with Hezbollah and now with Iran. Europe is just as useless as the United Nations. Is it any wonder the U.S. become the most powerful country in less than 200 years?

Thank You

This post is dedicated to the men and woman who have served and are serving in the United States military. I've never been in the armed forces, so I don't even pretend to know everything you go through or the sacrifices you have made or are making. But my father was in the Army during the Korean War so I have tremendous respect for you and what you do for us. I just wanted to let you know that you have people back home who love, support and respect you and who wish you a safe and speedy return. You sacrifice everything in your lives for people you don't even know. You may not call yourselves heroes, but that's what you are.
Thank You
The first, or second as the case may be, of every month, I post this message. It would be nice to see people honor and thank the men and woman who keep us safe. So if you would like to take part in this, just save the image above to your server and re-post this post. If you're not able to upload images, Image Shack or Tinypic are two great free host sites. What's great about this is that anyone can participate. There's no political leanings here. Show your support for the men and woman who defend our freedoms.

Hurricane Season Downgraded

Hurricane season has been downgraded

I thought Bush's global warming plan was going to make this hurricane season just as bad or worse than last years. At least that's what the "experts" were saying. 20 years scientists were saying that the planet was cooling. I wonder what they'll be saying 20 years from now.

Wednesday Hero Blogroll

I may be a Right-wing hack, but Wednesday Hero is a non-partisan post I do every Wednesday that honors the brave men and women in the United States military, their families and others that have given to our troops. And while I'm not taking "official" new members, I am still accepting new blogs. So, if you would like to post the tribute on your site you can do so by visiting this page every Wednesday. I'll have the post up for you do copy to your blog. All I ask is that you leave the link back to here so that others who may want to do the same can. And if you do post it, let me know so that I can add your blog to the list below. Also, I have the worst memory on planet Earth so if I forget to get the new post up by Wednesday afternoon let me know.

Have a question? Need to let me know something? Want to suggest someone to be profiled? You can contact me here.
