WHY I HATE THE LEFT
Want to know why they make me sick. This is why. These idiots should have been rounded up with cattle prods and thrown in the lake. These are the people that claim we don't care about the wounded soldiers? HA.
The Only Thing Necessary For Evil To Triumph
Is For Good Men To Do Nothing

You do know that CNSnews.com has absolutely nothing on it?

And as a side issue, can you please tell me how people gathering outside a hospital full of injured soldiers, and carrying posters with such slogans as "Maimed for a Lie" shows hate towards the soldiers? How it's uncaring for their plight?
[sarcasm]I mean it's so obvious how little they care for the soldiers, given the fact that their entire rally is in outrage of their current situation.[/sarcasm]

Anywho, the interesting thing about this post is that it demonstrates the Goldstein quote I used yesterday:
But it is also necessary that he [the party-following citizen] should be a credulous and ignorant fanatic whose prevailing moods are fear, hatred, adulation and orgiastic triumph.

Let me show the motives..and it is not "support" for the troops as these demonstrators claim. Just look at the founder and organizer of the main group:

Code Pink, the group organizing the anti-war demonstrations in front of the Walter Reed hospital, has a controversial leader and affiliations. As Cybercast News Service previously reported, Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin has expressed support for the Communist Viet Cong in Vietnam and the Nicaraguan Sandinistas.

In 2001, Benjamin was asked about anti-war protesters sympathizing with nations considered to be enemies of U.S. foreign policy, including the Viet Cong and the Sandinistas. "There's no one who will talk about how the other side is good," she reportedly told the San Francisco Chronicle.

Benjamin has also reportedly praised the Cuban regime of Fidel Castro. Benjamin told the San Francisco Chronicle that her visit to Cuba in the 1980s revealed to her a great country. "It seem[ed] like I died and went to heaven," she reportedly said.

That pretty much sums up the motives in my opinion.

Of Cuba; She thought she had died and went to heaven..where the very protests against government policy that she organizes here are not tolorated and punished by Death and imprisonment by Castro. LMAO!!!

Za, it's right there in black and white.
will post video evidence of the wounded veterans being taunted by protesters.

these worthless piles of dog squeeze out there on those sidewalks should be ashamed. these wounded soldiers fought for what they believed in and to give people like these protestor the right to be complete morons. it will never make it in the big media spotlight because it shows the dark side of the anti-war movement. the anti-war crowd is beginning to turn on the soldiers and that is sickening.

John, please tell me what he said about the Viet Cong. Go on - I dare you. What the right construe as "expressing support" generally means squat.
And go on - post what he actuall said when he "reportedly praised" Castro.

Ah you're right Chris, at least Drudge isn't quite the liar he seems. Have you actually listened to what the protesters are saying though?

Epler - those soldiers fought for what the government told them to fight for. Please tell me how saying that the government, and the government's big corporate supporters are the cause of their injuries is the "dark side" of the anti-war movement? The fact is that Halliburton has the contracts for almost everything to be done in Iraq, and the whole war WAS based on lies.
None of the soldiers were killed or died to protect the US, since there was no bloody threat!

As one of the protesters says in the video - exploiting the soldiers.

John, please tell me what he said about the Viet Cong. Go on - I dare you It is a "She", not a he. I did already; I quoted from the article itself.

What the right construe as "expressing support" generally means squat. What the left means by expressing support is just that. Being in support of etc etc. As for meaning squat; that is how we see the left's positions and support; so Iam not surprised you discount it. Same old song and dance with you. Nothing new or of substance in your comments.

The fact is that Halliburton has the contracts for almost everything to be done in Iraq, and the whole war WAS based on lies. Yea! We should have awarded those contracts to Starbucks!!!! You are an idiot.
We have already discussed many times now that what you deem as a lie is usually the truth in reality. Just about everything you have ever charged since comming to this blog has been a lie. It means nothing to us but it is annoying.

According to the article portion you quoted John K, Benjamin seemed to be allowing an open mind about the good in people - not just seeing all of the bad. She stated, "There's no one who will talk about how the other side is good". Remember - there are actual human beings on "the other side" - many of them also just doing what they are told, or being conned into supporting a dictator or "evil" government.

On Cuba, "Benjamin told the San Francisco Chronicle that her visit to Cuba in the 1980s revealed to her a great country. "It seem[ed] like I died and went to heaven," It is a beautiful country, with wonderful people! So, what's the problem - I don't necessarily see her supporting Castro in her comments!

All taken out of context maybe by the right wing??!!!.....hmmmmm.

My mistake John, she then.
Interesting that you only quote half of what I asked you to, and not in context.

The reason I say "what the right construes as 'expressing support'", is because the right will take "Osama is very good at masterminding terrorist attacks" and say that shows that someone is supporting Osama.

Perhaps, if Bush was so concerned with boosting the US economy, he could have contracted multiple smaller business (most likely for less in actual fact, since Haliburton has a history of overcharging).

And since you deem most things I say to be a "lie", and have loads of trouble proving it, I laugh at your accusations. I also find it endlessly amusing that you've used articles that disagree with you to support your stances in the past, so you're hardly someone who I'd bother listening to.

he could have contracted multiple smaller business (most likely for less in actual fact, since Haliburton has a history of overcharging). If you were such the research wizard that you claim to be; then you would have discovered that Halliburton is only one of three companies in the world that can do the jobs that it is hired for. The only American company out of those three worldwide which makes your assertion that others could have been hired; absolutly impossible.

I also find it endlessly amusing that you've used articles that disagree with you to support your stances in the past, so you're hardly someone who I'd bother listening to. I use articles that support my position but your twisted world of illogic and supposition makes them seem that way to you. As far as listening to me; I could care less if you do or do not. You are lost cause.

Anonymous said...

John, if you used your brain half as much as you used your balls to think, then you'd know that Haliburton is the only one of three companies in the world that can do the job ON ITS OWN.
Did it entirely escape your notice that I said "multiple"?

And whatever you reckon on the article front. Since you've used an article that explicitly stated the majority of Muslims are nice people to push your "all Muslims are liars" point, I'm still laughing.

Anonymous said...

Keep on laughing.. it will keep you young at heart. Leave the serious work to men with courage and conviction.

Anonymous said...

Courage is just stupidity or ignorance coupled with determination, and conviction is what Bush uses as "evidence".

Go live in your dream world where all Muslims want you to die, and the Middle East hates you for your freedoms.

Courage is just stupidity or ignorance coupled with determination, That is why your side always loses.

Of course it is John... that's why it's American aggressors who are dying so spectacularly. Because it's us non-gullible types who are so reckless.

Anonymous said...

Non-Gullible types? YOU?? He who thinks America has been bombing the middle east before bombs were invented? I think you have confused yourself with a human being.

Anonymous said...

Hyperbole and hypocrisy. John, you exceed yourself!
